In this video lecture we will be solving numericals related to area moment of inertia. Area Moment of inertia comes into picture when there is rotation of areas. Mass moment of inertia comes into picture when mass rotates about an axis of rotation. The derivations are for moment of inertia of quarter circle passing through centroid, rectangle, triangle, semicircle passing through centroid.
