¿Cómo llegar?
El Museo se encuentra sobre el paseo del Pescador en Zihuatanejo, a solo unos metros de Hotel del pescador, puedes llegar caminando en tan solo unos cuantos minutos, una de las ventajas es que podrás disfrutar de la belleza del paseo del pescador en tu travesía, ya que al igual que hotel del pescador, se encuentra frente al mar y cuenta con una hermosa vista de la bahía de Zihuatanejo.
El museo se encuentra en un antiguo edificio en la Costa Grande.
¿Qué ofrece?
Para conocer un poco más sobre la cultura e historia de la región de Ixtapa Zihuatanejo el Museo Arqueológico de la Costa Grande cuenta con 6 salas en las que se exhiben piezas prehispánicas de diferentes culturas como la Olmeca, Teotihuacana, Tarasca y Mexica en el que encontrarás utensilios, armas y artículos en cerámica además de conchas mismas que eran consideradas como piedras preciosas. Aquí también encontrarás piezas antiguas y de interés como un proyector de cine de 1936 además de exhibiciones de pinturas y óleos.
¿Qué se puede hacer ahí?
Aquí se realizan conferencias, presentaciones de libros, exposiciones de pintura y muchos otros eventos artísticos.
Sin duda una parada obligatoria durante tu visita en Zihuatanejo para conocer un poco más acerca de la historia y origen de este bello puerto!

To learn a little more about the culture and history of the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo region, the Archaeological Museum of the Costa Grande has 6 rooms in which pre-Hispanic pieces from different cultures such as the Olmec, Teotihuacana, Tarasca and Mexica are exhibited, where you will find utensils, weapons and ceramic articles as well as shells themselves that were considered precious stones. Here you will also find interesting and antique pieces such as a movie projector from 1936 as well as exhibitions of paintings and oil paintings.
