@lucasdiazjr5679 to each their own but if a character is native to a place like Brazil, Mexico, France, or even Germany; I would rather hear them speak in that native tongue compared to just English or Japanese. The fact that everyone universally understand each other makes makes the game so much more awesome for it. This is something that doesn't happen in the real world but I wish it was

What I don't understand is why in the T4 cutscene Hwoarang speaks better English than Jin, given that Jin has canonically been living for 2 years in Brisbane, Australia (right before T4 actually), so it would make more sense for Jin to speak better English than Hwo.

They don't talk in English. In the Japanese version, Hwarang speaks in Korean and Jin speaks in Japanese. That version is the English version, so they both speak in English. Jin's English doesn't seem very good because his voice was dubbed by a Japanese voice actor

English is the answer to everything, people spoke in English to each other before they were fluent enough in all the languages of the world to converse in their national/the current language they have in use, And every time they hear what language the other person is speaking, the characters will automatically translate it into English in their heads (English subtitles come when the characters talk).quickly and then respond in the opponent's own language and vice versa, the opponent will also do the same process at an extremely fast speed.

If you look at the dubbing of the previous works, there was no dubbing with lines in Tekken 3 and Tag 1, and in Tekken 4, where the dialogue voices were administered in earnest, Japanese characters spoke Japanese and English for the rest of the country characters. (Except for hwoarang, it is basically English, but the hidden victory pose that can be seen as a button combination is Japanese.)
In Tekken 5 and Tekken 6, Korean and Chinese were added in an effort to match the nationality of characters from each country to some extent. However, Western characters had a problem of using only English. However, in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, efforts were made to recruit voice actors who fit the language of each country according to the nationality of Western characters. Except for Alyssa, who used Japanese in the previous works, and Sergey Dragnov, who did not speak, most voice actors from each country were cast.
Added languages include French (Liri), Spanish (Migel), Portuguese (Eddie, Christie), German (Leo), Russian (Dr. Bosconovich). And Zafina still speaks English. It must have been hard to get an Egyptian voice actor

Yeah well it's a very bad idea if no one can understand them and the subtitles ain't crap either especially when they disappear so fast that you can't keep up with what they're really saying at all and even in Tekken 8 it's still the very same problem especially for the fans who love this game so much.

Seriously Namco should make it easier for people to understand the characters by having all the characters to speak English because no one can read subtitles that fast and it's very hard unless if you're Superman or The Flash but unfortunately we're not in fact we're only human or otherwise might as well get some Rosetta Stone to keep up with and understand the characters better if they're not going to be speaking English now or in the future so annoying. 🤦🤦
