I am made of books!

Tom Verlaine, musician and lead singer of Television, passed away in 2023. Tom Verlaine loved books and was a regular patron of The Strand bookstore in New York. After his death, on a weekend in Brooklyn, people were invited to peruse two garages and buy books owned by Tom Verlaine. Looking through the list of genres, it's clear he was a voracious reader of anything and everything. It got me to thinking about what the books on our shelves say about us - and so I wrote the post I'm talking about in this video "Raised by Literature" and how some of us are built from and raised by books.
