Younger Gojira was different⊠more heavy⊠more deep growls from Joe.
Well yeah, its clear that Joe's growls/screams were always more about raw feeling than technique, in comparison to sayy the lead singer of Meshuggah. And if youre going to do purely raw growls/screams and have that be constant in your music, its a young man's game and the singer has committed their voice to an unsustainable trajectory.
I love this guys... Their music is perfect in every sense.. Energy, riffing, drumming, LYRICS, synergy... Amazing... I honestly dont care what you will play next by Gojira.. I enjoy it all...

so I got to watch Gojira at the corporation in Sheffield in 2012.... that was a wild gig. They were already much more popular than when this DVD was filmed and the venue was much smaller... it was wild.
So glad you are sticking with these guys! A lot of react channels bail after the hits. Indians is a criminally underrated song of theirs that you have to hear! The imagery from the music is amazing and the way they derail the song at the end is insane.

Such an underrated album - it's all Mario, he is a beast on this album and it's peak death metal for Gojira, how many headbanging riffs and sections were there in one song here? One of my favorites!

You guys should check out Alien Weaponry sometime. They are from New Zealand and opening for Gojira. Tangaroa is a newer song from them or Kai Tangata would be good to start. They are with Napalm too, so likely won't be blocked.
