It can't hold a candle to 747-400, but it does look nice
I wonder most times do people really understand how complex a new aircraft is especially with a ground breaking biggest engine on a commercial aircraft today. After all the issues and grounding of the 737Max and all the COVID problems don’t forget there are thousands parts suppliers also try to get back to normal operations. Boeing are under extreme pressure to get this right for the first delivery. I am sure when it’s 100% ready it’s going to be a beautiful plane.

Absolutely! It is very beautiful aircraft. I was in Boeing Plant in Everett WA when the first test flight was conducted last January 2020, later COVID struck!
It’s is amazing beautiful twin engine aircraft, the biggest twin engine aircraft ever built so far and has the biggest engine built by GE❤

@@jirehla-ab1671 Fan diameter of 134 inches is larger (will be quieter and more fuel efficient) but thrust of 110,000 lbs. is a bit less because the larger wings (than the earlier 777-300ER) added lift requires less thrust than the -300ER.

777x a 1960s tube with gimmicks added. EMIRATES will cancel.
It’s the sheer size of those engines that stand out for me.
Those engines are like the big busts of a gorgeous woman. The airplane being the gorgeous woman of course.

The engine is larger than the fuselage of some Boeing planes flying today. The efficiency gain must be enormous.

The 747 is by far the most iconic and beautiful plane Boeing has ever build in actual fact the nicest Airliner ever build in a total different league to anything else .the second most revolutionary plane ever build was indeed the 757
@@ABSDEFRD Agreed the 747 is the best, but the discussion here is about twin engine long range.... I guess the comparision is amongst 777, 787, A350.
@@vintubeable OK I understand but you can`t really compare this planes different times you can compare the 777 with the A330 and you can compare the 787 with the A350 .The A340 was an oddball ,but the most revolutionary twin jet ever build and when it all started was the 757 this plane was something else to took over the legendary 727 the innovation and design almost killed Boeing .

Wow! That thing is a beast! I try only flying 787s, usually avoid 777 when I can. Not this one when it’s in service.

Such an elegant engineering marvel. I hope airlines don’t crowd the PAX as usual. Equally, the A380 just looks like a phat phig, albeit a fine example of engineering also. It was certified for 850 PAX, but 550 normally fitted out for enabled so much space making it a passengers dream. If 777 was fitted for 350, it would be a game changer.

Sadly, no airline actually operates its planes the way this one was flown for the demo. It'd make being a passenger a whole lot more fun if they would! At least for me, anyway. Let's do a zero G trajectory!!!

Wouldn’t it give them extra usable thrust because the generators would be significantly demagnetized in the engines. Doesn’t this plane have like 15 generators ?
