I used to play this at the arcades and on my miggy. Later I got it for the MD. Nowadays seems good (not the gfx) as a game cause it's different, but back then I was disappointed.
This is one of the hardest games I ever played and is even harder on the Genesis Version. You must have an extreme level of patience to endure Toki. Even if you play it on easy mode with 7 continues, it beats you to death. I also just found out that there is a Playstation 4 Remaster from Indie game developers.
the Amiga version is way better for colours, fidelty of level design, graphics in general, although a bit slower. Horrible colours in this one and many things don't match the original coin-op

It's because the Amiga actually is a port. The Sega Genesis version here is a reimagining. The SEGA version only has the mechanics of the arcade game.
