I binge watched this show in roughly a week and Deckstar instantly became one of my absolute favorite ships. Had no idea they'd make me cry so much either.
And what a glow up comparing to the end of season 6... All her life it was her greatest fear - losing him. It goes from the time he didn't show up at their very first date, later - when he left her after she almost died and came back married, then - that farewell before he went to Hell at the first time. Later that fear was pulled on by Michael, then - when her daughter told her he wasn't on her deathbed. But at the very end she was able to put her fear aside and tried to reassure him this is for good sake. Such a character development 👍
I became depressed for like a week or two after that season finale, no joking. I started to cry randomly throughout my days as I remembered that he had to go just when she realised she loved him and finally was able to say it. Whole season 4 was a big lump to the throat.
Deckerstar’s first kiss was the first scene I saw in a CZcams video before I found out it was a tv show and watched it from the beginning. As I was watching the show, I understood what everyone loved the Lucifer and Chloe pairing because their chemistry is good and their connection felt real. Their relationship is slow burn but a good developing that not only their changing feelings for one other throughout the seasons but themselves have changed for the better, happier. Out of their kisses, the first kiss remains my favorite.
Their chemistry is palpable - Lauren has such an incredible emotional range, she makes Chloe real. My heart melts each time they connect. I just finished rewatching the final season. The writing for the last episode was incredible.

What I really love about how they do the kiss scenes and even just the smaller ones, every time they're shown, they feel so real and feel like such genuine small moments.
Chloe mentions in season 3(I think) how she wants someone whom feels comfortable opening up to her... For the most part, everytime they kiss is when Lucifer opens up to her

To be the source of his whackjob daughter's trauma, and for no real reason? And about the "major sacrifices", the authors already played that card too many times, when Lucifer returned to hell the first time, or when he and Chloe died for each other. And no other couple in the show was asked for something like that to "sanctify" their love. I'd prefer he died for Rory, honestly. It would have made much more sense.

Some months ago, my favorite tv show was The Flash. When I discovered Lucifer, it became my favorite tv show. If Deckerstar didn't exist, it would remain The Flash, but this chemistry, and this love story is so beautiful that when the show ended, it broke my heart. I don't want a 7th season for the story, I want it for more Deckerstar scenes 😭
