As far as the one on one with with a villain, Hawkeye was under used a fuck in the MCU. If they had given him the same level of attention they gave Black Widow and used him properly in the stories instead of the comedy relief moments you would've really seen what someone like him is capable of. They decided to focus more on the easy characters for the simple minded viewers to get into. I'd never have done that. I would've shown the best and the worst moments for all of the characters to give the viewers a complete package to really know what they are capable of doing and where they are lacking.

They are both trained assassins except black widow was only trained with guns and close combat while Hawkeye was trained with both of those AND archery. Hawkeye is SO underrated
Yeah I know it's sad sometimes that some people kept forgetting Clint Barton/Hawkeye, because sometimes when I'm checking out some nice fan arts of the Avengers. I sometimes notice that Hawkeye isn't there and it is so tragic for me 😢

Nobody realized that Hawkeye is stronger than black widow. They are both trained assassins except black widow was only trained with guns and close combat while Hawkeye was trained with both of those AND archery. Also Kate bishop has the same skills as Hawkeye except that she doesn’t have the materials (even though her family is rich) because her mom was arrested. But the only real difference is years in training. But I’d have to say Hawkeye is smart with the way he handled that mafia in 2 minutes during endgame. 😂

She basically told him he’s their father figure, and she was right… he left during Infinity War and the whole team fell apart worse than they ever have before. Remember the opening of Endgame? They despised each other. Hawkeye came back and he brought everyone back together, even if he wasn’t together himself.

I wonder if people think he's the weakest Avenger because his skills (archery, martial arts, etc.) don't seem that important in and of themselves, but we all forget to take into account how incredibly good he is at the things he does.
