As a former jewelry salesman, manager, repair man, buyer, seller...it's always great to revisit the technics of a true " artist"..in your case silver smith. Great video for people who have no clue on the labor and artistry involved in making " fine jewelry ".

@@eric8851 ok but if the flame is hot enough to melt the piece would it not melt the ring too. Or at least distort it
@@ronrico2620 likely the silver solder has a lower melting point. Have you ever used solder to attach anything? Same principle

This is a great way to level up my smithing skill, dwemer bows also work great
Funny enough, in skyrim we level smithing by making some easy to do item repeatedly.
In actual blacksmithing you also get better via repetition, a simple project like a leaf key chain is good because it covers a few basic principles (drawing out, forging bevels, accuracy with the hammer, using various parts of the anvil) but anything that teaches you hammer control and how metal moves will help.
So skyrim actually has a relatively good take on leveling smithing.

This guy has so many tools specifically for this, you can tell hes done this a million times before
These machines and tools are certainly not specifically to do this.
To do this a million time, it requires 14 years if he make each ring in 7:21 min, while working 24×7 for 14 years. If he works 8 hours a day and take actually double the time of video, it becomes 84 years to make a million of such rings.
It's almost like he has a jewelry channel and needs these to create jewelry
