A point Aries omitted is that with the implementation of AI, there might be fewer chances for new actors and actresses to emerge, as Hollywood could continue relying on the images of established celebrities instead of exploring new talent.

Aries hit the nail on the head. You can't replace the movie theater experience. AMCs stock went in the toilet before and it bounced back. People go to the movies for the experience. Doesn't matter what kind of home setup you have. It will never be the same as the movie going experience

The problem is, that once you sign that contract, your likeness is no longer yours. When these new actors start signing These contracts now, they Betta read the fine print, same as us consumers when we download all of These different apps without reading the fine print.

That’s where Glad is wrong here. The studios are trying to pay a couple hundred bucks for an hour of work and own your likeness *forever* …and pump out wack AI scripts and have actual writers make it good, for an hourly wage, instead of paying them like they *created* the product.

They both have good points . On one hand I kinda got used to watching my movies in my house on my big tv with my surround sound system and my movie style popcorn machine. But at the same time i do miss the feeling of going to a movie theater and enjoying a movie the way the director wanted you to watch it .

I see both sides of the argument. At the core, it's all about the almighty dollar. The only way for AI scripts & AI actors to NOT be the next big thing would be for people to not fund those projects by streaming the films or buying movie tickets. I mean the situation with Bud Light is proof that the most effective thing consumers can do in order to cripple a corporation is to NOT give it their money.
The thing is, whether or not Vlad has a theoretical point, the AI doesn't work the way he says, because the companies making the AI apps are lying about what it actually does. It's just shuffling images it's stolen without permission and spitting out a very advanced collage, it's not making anything new.

@@QuietStorm93 but actors have always been a pain in the ass to take care of. Just like with any profession, anyone can name their price on top of other expenses to make things happen. Of course there's contracts that would enforce celebrities to promote the movie to bring in revenue. But AI can replace a lot of expenses like make up artists and stunt doubles. And depending who has the equipment to produce AI, that will become a competitive market in its own.

Auto tune was a test for art created in AI. It does erase the authenticity and emotion of human ability... as well as income.

I agree with both of them, after the pandemic Cinemax change, I just went to a movie theater and it was empty only a handful of people. Now with streaming services you can watch all the big name stars at home, and watch as many times you want. And as far as the writers, there are many new people that can get they film out that Hollywood wouldn’t even look at it. But nothing can change the art of acting. No matter how good or bad your script is if you got good acting most people will overlook certain movies itself…
I really like watching movies at the theatre. It's never the same watching at home.

He comes from the position of someone with marginal talents and none creatively but found a profitable lane. Aries is both an actor and writer so he understands the worth and value of his work and knows he should get paid fairly for it.
Through my own research on Ai... I have to say Aries is right about one thing, Ai can simplify the task... But it can't replicate the creativety... Only in the sense of a format... Or a template or a "starting point" but not a finished product from start to finish, it still needs a humans touch and through our own creativety we determine the real results.

What Vlad is saying is the future, we cant stop it, this is going to happen. the problem with it is that everyone would be doing it because it would be accessible within everyones reach. and so if everyone is doing it, there will waaay too much content and hardly anyone would see what someone created that is really good because there is just too much so im not sure how long that would last but it is going to happen.

The whole reason AMC's share price is down is nothing more than the fact that it's been a bear market for the NYSE for 2022, and 2023 is a transition phase as the DXY starts to reverse.
Once the bull market returns, AMC's share price should start steadily rising, simply based on what the market makers decide to do with the price.
Plus if you look at the chart AMC's share price is trading pretty much around the same region it was in 2017.
The only reason it has retraced so much is because it had a crazy spike to 43 dollars in June 2021 from a low of 1.17 dollars in January 2021.
That kind of growth is not sustainable. Hence why the price has reversed significantly back to where it currently is, before it gets ready to form a new base and start rising again for the next bull market.
