    How would you consider project management jobs as a senior manager in a company. Does it also qualify as generic management that would not be considered “specialized job” with shrinking demand in future?

    Very much appreciate this information. Especially with the link. Luckily I love what I do, but I am watching the job markets. (I am a chemist working in regulatory compliance and sustainability.) This is good information, and also good for me to share with younger friends and family as they explore their future career paths.

    Just wanted to ask if perhaps you have an idea. I had my Interview with Bain for an internship but sadly got rejected. All other companies I applied to already rejected me earlier. I am coming from an engineering background so I guess this is a major point. Is there any way to learn general BWL on the side but also something you can show in your CV ?

    I wonder what the future looks like for trading and trading operations jobs. I’m working in middle office electronic trading positions and hope this will still be in demand in the future.

    I am wondering if accounting will become automated or not because that is another area that could possibly be at risk. However I don’t see inventory counts and stuff like that being automated within accounting.

    Hey Heinrich, great video! A little off-topic: I recently got accepted for the masters programs of LMU (BWL) and Uni Mannheim (MMM) and now I've got to make a choice. Considering your background and your current position, I trust that you have some valuable insights that might help facilitate this decision. Do you think there is a qualitative difference between the two programs when the goal is to either join MBB or work in a strategy related position in a Start -Up after finishing the degree? Or does it come down to personal preference and other factors? Thanks in advance!

    • @KennethMesser1
      @KennethMesser1 Před 2 lety

      You would be great at either school. At LMU you will be able to work at the start ups in Munich while MMM you might have the chance to bump in to founders at your class.

  • @fulviocatto1764
    @fulviocatto1764 Před 2 lety +1

    I'm adding a bit on top of that, regarding workforce demand in the computer area. In my opinion the demand for skills in the area of cloud services will increase in the next few years. For example, the hyperscalers (Amazon, Google, Microsoft, to say a few) are the only subjects able to provide the necessary computing power for AI and ML applications at affordbale costs. Secondly, they can optimize energy consumption and carbon footprint better than many small proprietary datacenters. So, basically, learning computer science and maths could be a good bet.
