One server i made was for Phantasy Star Online 2 as a game server for the newly released Xbox game. I had put some ad's in the game's official club. One person joined after 2 weeks and left instantly.
I'm even trying to get some other servers going. One is a discord server based Roleplay server. You don't need any games like GTA 5. All you have to do is be able to roleplay.

I haven't paid for nitro once. Didn't ask once for it to be gifted. Even had a Microsoft reward try to offer it to me for free. Never redeemed it and i let it expire. Plus, an old version of discord kept trying to push nitro games on non nitro accounts (basically, everyone).

I’ve been kicked by the same owner in a couple of their servers just for telling the truth and being blunt about it. I’ve grown use to it by now, which is actually funny thinking about it. We’re cool again now, but that was quite the adventure. Oh, and I had invites to those severs that don’t expire and sent them to a couple of my other accounts so I just either came back to the server the next day, or they (or a friend I made who was also in the server) would send an invite and apologize. I still have the invites just in case I feel like popping in and see how things are going.
I remember when my sister first got discord and she asked me to help her since it was her first time. I left her for a while and she said a bot swore at her even though one of the rules of the server was to not swear.
