It's an Italian's resistance song against nazi/fascism, and the "partigiano" is a fighter of the resistance. It's a nice song, very sad, but very beautiful. It start saying something like "one morning i woke up, and i find an invader", and the woman that found his place invaded is asking the partigiano to take her away with him... Or so i always interpreted the song.
