Sometimes hard to describe how this man and his songs make a person feel, I have loved this song since I was 18 talk about memories especially one particular girl back then. Sometimes hard to describe how this man and his songs make a person feel, I have loved this song since I was 18 talk about memories especially one particular girl back then. Now in my late 40's its just as emotional. He can make you cry for the good or the bad of the memory or situation you where or are in now, his music is timeless.
good to have those memories and smile and laugh a bit at em...even for a moment.

Thank you for posting this! I got married almost three years ago. My dad got very sick a few months before my wedding. He nearly passed away I had my Dad choose the song for the father daughter dance. This is what he chose. It just reminds me that he always has been and always will be there for me however long he’s here on earth we’ve always been super close. This song says it all. It has been special to me ever since my wedding day when I heard it for the first time .
Now I understand why this love ballad was played & sang at so many weddings...listening to it today is just as sentimental as it was 43 years ago...but nobody can sing it like he could

My gosh!! This song is so deep...I love my life!, My girlfriend, my mum, my dad, my dear friends, my brother's....my anyone who can be this close to even sing this song. I sometimes think this is Jesus Christ singing it to His people. The Bible does say, come the way you are (Matthew 11:28). I guess it's these anointed words that pull your 💖 similarly, God loves us just the way we are.. simply let us repent and confess ourselves before Him and be saved by Jesus Christ. Amen...
