Illinois dam failure leads to flooding, evacuations

Hundreds of people in a southern Illinois town were ordered to evacuate Tuesday as water rolled over the top of a dam, just one perilous result of severe weather that raged through the Midwest overnight with relentless rain and tornadoes and hit the Chicago area especially hard.

I was a hydro engineer in the Air Force..The dam didn't fail.😅 The water is overflowing at the spillway as it should functioning properly😅 Why are authorities allowing this lie to continue. When a dam has too much water behind it there is a proper emergency spillway to divert the water to the side and this keeps the 'dam' from being undermined. 😅 I'm surprised they didn't report that both the dam & spillway are voting Biden😅
