Following are the details of the activities done by us as part of the day tour in Sindhudurg district of Konkan. This particular video was shot on 27th sept.
Devgad beach: This is a beautiful sea beach
Travel from Devgad to Kunkeshwar - This is a 8 km stretch, this journey must always be done during day time, sea and road run parallel.
Kunkeshwar temple and sea beach - This is old temple of Lord Shiva, temple is just outside sea beach
Rameshwar temple - Achara - This is an old temple, located at 25 km from Kunkeshwar.
Jamdul island - Mangrove safari on boat- Amazing boat journey.

Lunch at a homestay - 2 km from jamdul island, we had traditional konkani food at this homestay.

that homestay lady was so sweet . she was a great host to harish bhai and team . she made sure the guest enjoyed his food , served with lots of love and honor and shared so much knowledge about the malwani cuisine . the place was also amazing with greenery and sound of sea waves.

It's clearly a fruit of all the great efforts, resources and the teamwork invested , which are not to be taken for granted. Unlike many others whose main goal is to reach a certain amount of views, subscribers, in order to only enjoy the finacial benefits, you, dear sir, are doing it for pleasure and to genuinely pass on the passion for travel and indirectly encourage both the service providers and the tourists.

The sweet dish made wrapped in haldi leaves is also done in Odisha, Exactly the same way. It just goes to show that even with all the variety thats there in the food we eat in different part of this country, there is also so much of similarity too.

Kokan is calm and serene....One thing for sure and it is especially for people outside maharashtra people in lokan are so nice and good ....Any time of the day/night u will not get hurt by these localities....They are like god people....

Sindhudurg district seems much more interesting than Raigad and Ratnagiri. Enjoyed the episode very much.

That " Laal mart " we called " Kosala Saag " in Odisha. Basically we prepared it with Coconut without any Onion Garlic & Masala. Few dishes of Konkan almost same like eastern Odisha.
