- "Enga gi leichil" is a song sung to the devious clouds of June that brings rain, distancing the beloveds from one another. Through this lyrics i.e a conversation between two lovers, we try to manifest the lifestyle of farmers in the early manipur society, how people used to go from one place to another, their medium of communication, their ways of earning and surviving. Here in this song, the cloud is resented by a lady saying that it brings rain that blocks her lover's path to which the guys soothes his inamorata by saying that it was he who assembled the clouds to wash away her anxiousness.

the boy, presenting his stance once again, says he's for an eternity even if he's poor. dramatics. he even assures that their meeting is divine, orchestrated by the gods themselves. eventually, she concedes and joins the boy in a sing along. and they repeat it. but the girl, for one last time, raises that doubting finger.
