Possibly the single greatest ASMR video on CZcams. No audio tricks, no sexual connotations. My ASMR was triggered as a kid by an adult admiring a scrapbook of mine. Ever since, almost anyone taking a deep interest in any work I had done would trigger my ASMR. No sleep inducing feelings. Just a tremendous “in my head” sense of well-being, almost trance like. This video comes closer than anything else without overdoing the tiresome endless tapping and stereo imaging and unbearable whispering adopted by those who think they “get” ASMR, but in my case, miss it by a country mile. This and Springbok’s “Rhetoric” videos define the high water mark in the genre. Still brilliant several years on. Wish she had kept going for longer.

I miss Spring, and this is my favorite video of hers.
I've never felt so relaxed yet judged at the same time.
I literally could not relax to this. Not that this isn't superb, because it is. Its just that I am a photographer and this was all too real of many a portfolio showing. Scary, nerve wracking stuff.
I am so impressed. Your intimidating demeanor, the use of black and white, and your hand movements are a strange combination of being unsettling and yet very relaxing! Amazing work!
I know this one has been around a while but it's my "go-to" video, when nothing else works. It always gets the job done for me. And the coffee through-line is genius. I'd love for Dr. Von Spring to make another appearance.
It was cool when you did that thing at that point in the video.

It's not easy to make such an ASMR video. Research, getting art materials for the portfolio, having a story line, rehearsing dialogue, practicing the role, preparing the location and testing the gear and trying to do it all in one take without expecting much financial reward. I get ready to fall asleep, turn up my phone all the way, find a good video, and close my eyes while it loads, and then suddenly someone's yelling at me about a new TV show.

You are truly the best. Been listening to you since right after you started. I work in the film industry and do 12+ hour days, and listening to you helps me fall asleep relaxed. It sounds creepy, but if i didn't, I would be up for an extra hour or two at least.

As a person who is looking through colleges and anxious to get out there, this is extremely relaxing, thank you! This was pretty hilarious too, at the beginning when you mentioned some of the photos being quite dark in different ways, as a lot of students in my classes create things around that theme. This seemed almost personalized, or maybe its just the fact that I finally found an Art School ASMR. Really great.
This video made me so relaxed and floaty like. Black and white was a nice touch. It was awesome to see this different side of you. You are actually a pretty good actress. Much love, you absolutely fabulous human being! ❤️

Your videos are superb, beautifully executed and so relaxing. I would love to see a video where you talk about your favorite movies or films that you feel were particularly influential in your life.
I imagined that my portfolio consisted entirely of cats wearing human clothing going about their work day. It's social commentary...or something. Also I need to know if your coffee is gluten-free, this is important.

I was avoiding this video for days, I'm an art student myself, so the prospect of a portfolio review can be unnerving, to say the least. But this was delightfully relaxing, and you blew this one out of the park! Great description to boot.

A lot of guys back on halfchan hate that women can make a living doing such easy, simple things as whispering into a camera for an hour a day and that men can't (or have a much harder time doing so). Honestly, most of them are just your average dipshit human like most of us, but the crowd riles individuals which in turn rile the crowd until the individual with the least morals throws the first cinderblock. Humans, even some of the most well intentioned, can easily succumb to instinctual pack mentality.
That's so sad, I just happened across her and been falling asleep to her call centre role play. I wish people didn't have to be dicks and ruin it for the rest of us

HAH. you've managed to create an entire eerie world with its own rules using 1 person and a small desk space. Not to mention you know a lot of vocab and details about this subject. So creative! She said it was unusual for the subject matter so I'm pretty sure it was still in cemeteries... I imagine the interviewer took it as commentary on people romanticizing death or something artsy like that.

You totally nailed this! She's a terror. Great job.
What to say? Years down the line, and this remains (for me) the nearest any ASMR video has come to triggering real, genuine ASMR in my head. It’s not based on any sort of sexual excitement, endless stereo jumping from one ear to the next, no tapping of books and no inadvertently deliberate cleavage. The dialogue is credible and intelligent (as is Spring’s “rhetoric” video), and he character rendition is hugely convincing.
For me, there’s been no-one come close to Spring’s apparently deep rooted understanding of what ASMR truly feels like.
She remains very much in a class of her own, and her videos are still the benchmark that others should seek to emulate.
Sorely missed.

But I have a photography question for you what are those little white frames that you were looking through towards the end? I am an aspiring photographer but have only taken two classes.
