That “Wrecker get him on board” sounds so sad and desperate. 😢
This season literarily made us fall in love with Tech and his relationship with Omega... it was the one which saw the most growth... all just to mess with our feelings and kill him off..
I love how the first guys reaction went from "oh nooo they are going to kill tech" to "OH SHIT FOR REAL?!"

On the plus side this makes his death in Rouge 1 less sad. Seriously Saw has a habit of wreaking everything he touches. There's a good reason Bail Organa and Mon Mothma wanted nothing to do with him. He's too much of a loose canon.
Even if he miraculously comes back somehow, I'll never forget how heartbreaking this scene was. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

What strikes me most about losing Tech is that it happens at the BEGINNING of the episode, which is where you would least expect it.
The silence in the moment after tech shot the hinge, gets me crying every time

Does anyone know the significance of why Plan 99 was someone putting the group first and sacrificing themselves for the good of the squad? SW: TCW S3 EP2 - 99’s heroic final stand when he gets killed going to retrieve more ammunition for Rex, Cody, and the cadets when the Sepratists attack Kamino.

The fact Filoni had the balls to kill off one of the Bad Batch speaks volumes to how good this show was written.
I remember where I was, and what I was thinking, the first time I watched Plan 99. I remember thinking the same thing as these reactors. "Oh, wow, what a shot!" "Oh, Wrecker's got him!" "No, no! Run! Yes, yes! NO!" "What assholes!" "Poor Omega..." And, just like the lady at the end, just crying after. It's been over a year now, and it's still a very difficult scene to sit through. It's really painful. But I wouldn't change a thing.
This hurt me most because last year i was self-diagnosed ASD and Tech is canon neurodivergent…i really identified with his intellect, his mannerisms, his logical approach. Very much what we once called an “Aspergers” individual. I loved him from the start and he developed so much this season. Im angry that he was a first for Disney and now he’s dead…another example of token representation they can check off their list. They did my boy dirty, even though he put the squad first.
What a special connection. Even though he is dead it won’t change the fact that he was a great character and died like a hero

I only started watching TBB when s3 was airing, and I knew Tech was going to die before it happened, yet it was still one of the saddest points in Star Wars I’ve ever seen

The score in this episode was pristine the crescendo when tech falls and he’s holding on by his grappling hook. Goosebump every time

He is most likely still alive, still a very gut wrenching scene.

@@Reaction_Center Don't forget that the doctor was like: Ah yes, such a shame. This is all we could find, such a shame. If they found his Googles what did they truly find? Gotta ask yourself that!
Also considering the things the Doctor is capable of, Tech being dead could be the best outcome. I can't imagine what the Doctor can turn Tech into( remember what happened to Echo when we thought he was dead in Clone Wars).
As much as it hurts, I hope he’s dead, so that the show can have actual stakes

Tech had to experience a f@cked up death. He kept inching towards death, experiencing his hope disappear, to finally summoning, nay exposing his courage and saving his brothers and sister.
Likely in the new trailer I’m pretty sure we seen in the background he’s alive, but even with him being alive, there’s gonna be some consequences
I have a feeling Tech isn't actually dead since in another scene the empire could only find his goggles and I was thinking if they had found the goggles why couldn't they find Tech?
So tech is probably out there somewhere on the planet or got captured and experimented on by the empire.
Or, possibly he eluded capture and is just hunkering down somewhere until the worst of his wounds can heal (even for a clone, a fall like that would almost certainly leave him injured, unless he got lucky and something snagged his wire just enough to rob his fall of most of it's momentum), and from there he may be planning to try and find Crosshair on his own, since the Empire & Bad Batch won't be looking for a "Ghost" like him, it will give him the best chance to find Crosshair and figure out if his warning was legit without raising any alarms, and if it was, to find a way to get Crosshair out of there before signalling the Bad Batch to pick both of them up. And from there, Tech & Crosshair could work with the rest of the Bad Batch to find and rescue Omega.

I guess Echo will try to pick up his role but he won’t be enough. I think the Batch will work with some other clones more in the next season such as the squad Echo saved Howzer with, Howzer and also Cody who if you remember left the empire

I’m guessing Tech won’t be returning as ‘Season 3’ is the finale for it and it’s almost halfway over. This really isn’t looking good for the bad batch. I hope to see them return someday is a show or movie. Maybe continue bad batch eventually. It’s just heartbreaking knowing that Tech most likely won’t return and the bad batch will be killed off. R.I.P Tech
I can’t imagine how Wrecker must feel. He didn’t just lose his brother. In his mind he thinks he wasn’t strong enough to save him. He was the who looked him in the eyes when he made the sacrifice. That’s gut wrenching especially knowing wreckers personality.

I was literally numb to this scene.
It was so obvious they were going to kill him off, and it’s even more obvious that he’s going to come back sooner or later.
Star Wars has fallen into a poor state, being pathetically predictable and incredibly stale, if not downright awful.
It really speaks volumes when the mid-season finale was SO much better than the actual season finale.
