Foundation is probably the best series ever written, but adopting that into movies would be really, really difficult

Yeah, doesn't bother me. For once I'm glad to put down an author's anachronisms. Foundation is absolute genius, but living with some of the cultural and lingual holdovers of the first half of the 20th century might be a little much. "By Jupiter, Hari!"...as long as their true to the characters.

I remember reading the first three book on this great series of the Foundation in high school, was hooked. did not get a chance to read the others in this series. I have them. now they made a movie, will go back and start again.

As I constantly enjoyed, It took my high school years to read what was already written. It took my Uni years to vaguely psycounderstand how to, no why to, get it. Now I know that a moving picture play about 'Foundation' would be better served as a long format series. Every book needs attention different from the others.
Try as best you can my fellow science artists. is it Art Scientists. Either way, do it next y'all can.
Anything short of awesome will be sorely dissapointing. I still have the original trilogy in small pink and green hardbacks from 7th grade in 1978. It was eye opening and hooked me madly on sci-fi.

Lets take classic SCIENCE fiction novel. Ad a lot of political correctness. Change philosophy into action. Replace science with fiction. Change thinking to action. Add burst and explosion. More burst. More darkness. Loonger scene with no sense but good looking.
First idea after teaser trailer: one of most original an innovative book, changed into typical low level movie pulp.
