Please make an entire album like this! I miss rock/punk Relient K. Do you realize how difficult it is to find good rock/punk music these days? This is awesome!!!
Listen to The Menzingers. They're a fantastic punk band. Good Things, Lookers, I Don't Wanna Be an Asshole Anymore, and The Talk are some good songs of theirs to start with.

If you think about it, it's really bizarre how much he can just change his voice from MMHMM style to Collapsible lung style but it's awesome to hear them write music like this again. Hope this keeps up!

I've been listening to this EP all day. This song feels so old school but i feel like it has hints of Look on up (the guitar swells, and the play with reverb and delay) and I don't need a soul (the guitar feedback). Absolutely Love It!!!!

Last time I was this early Relient K still played pop punk - oh wait.
is the intro guitar the same as on "Chapped lips" ?
There are a few notable differences between the intro to this song and to Chap Stick, Chapped Lips and Things Like Chemistry, but the beginning to the two are very similar, (especially in that they start out with the same guitars, strums, and even in the same key).
After a second listen I see where this is coming from, but I think the chord progression is different

this style works so much better for them....we all know it. i love indiefolk and electronic pop, but Relient-K sounds so much better with guitars and upbeat drums

I remember first listening to them in 02 or 03. Never regretted it since then because they've gotten me through some struggles. I do however miss their old sound, but still respect RK always.

Seriously awesome. The intro reminded me of Down by Blink182. I'm always so excited every time they release new stuff. Really made me happy seeing Hoopes and Thiessen have fun playing in the video. Also, Dave Douglas killed it.
