Absolutely love it. Ollie is my favorite driver and can't wait to see him at WRC1 level again, whatever that entails in the coming years. Hopefully we will get something that we all deserve, whether we are fans, drivers or manufacturers!

That's bullshit... not even real life rally masters can run a whole 8-9 stage rally without making a single mistake while going full throttle the whole time... The real guys that don't cheat start at around 10-15 seconds behind... I'm a really good driver up to WRC 2 and I can get to the top 30-50 in most short/mid stages (without cutting corners btw) but I'm sure EA has the same problem that F1 games have with cheaters online... it's really pathetic when you cheat in games but it is what it is... at some point you know that you're at the limit and yet you're still 30 seconds behind... if it was 5 or 10 I'd be ok with it...but 30 seconds in a 9km stage when I'm at full throttle almost the whole time??? Hey man I started playing this game with an Xbox remote. And even then it feels really good. The feedback in the remote is quite impressive and a step up from dirt rally 2. I got a logitech 920 for xmas and it certainly is better! But I wouldn't pass up on the game if you're limited by your set up! its too good 🙂

It’s a great game! I just can’t stand the saturation of the snow. On my screen, it’s impossible to see where the road goes. I can’t tell where the edge of the track begins and where the track ends. I have tried in game-brightness, and monitor setting-brightness to no avail. Game update needed soon??
It's not saturation but exosure which is tuned badly on many stages, if it is done by stage at all. That said, you can kinda fix it. I'll upload a ReShade preset to Nexusmods to improve exposure. ReShade is safe to use on WRC. :)
Old Escort??? No rally car has paddles anyway... driving a rally car without a shifter when you're Oli Solberg (meaning you're not short on budget) is a crime... hell... I have a proper Fanatec Shifter and I'm barely scraping through ffs...
I'm glad to see he switched camera to hood. I don't know how these kids do rally from chase cam perspective. You miss a lot of the view directly in front of the car.

@@inbloom08 From what I remember from the Solberg event in Dirt Rally 2.0 Petter used 3rd person because he was able to 'feel' the car better that way. Driving in real life you can feel the weight shifting much better and he felt he missed that. In 3rd person he could see the rear and it made it easier for him. As far as I know Oliver used 1st person back then.

You don't. I SIM with a 1050 ti on an old dell with a t300. The whole setup is around $400
Even with a 2000 euro PC it still runs awful compared to DR2.0.
EA WRC is an arcade game. Keep looking if you want something more challenging. Love solbergs though!
