Deadmau5 is the king of automation.
nope....the software is doing all for him! and every melody,arps from him sounds the same....
drakestar13 what... you do realize the software doesn't wright the song for you. automation was all written by him. Also if you cant hear a difference in his melodies you must not know much about music...
lol....i`m a producer by myself ! and like i said...all melodys sounds the same...maybe 2 or 3 different notes,chords but it´s still the same !
Well good luck with that. If you're a producer and you don't know what automation is (you start talking about melody which has nothing to do with automation) and you also don't seem to get that Deadmau5 is quite good at what he does.. then.. well.. you still haven't even gotten to the stage where you understand how much there is to learn.

Why does he do it with the looped section? Doesn't make any sense to me
i think he does it in a loop so that he can copy and paste the section once he completes it. I do the same thing, I will loop it so that it makes sense once it transitions into either itself or the chorus or whatever, but looping the 4 or 8 or 16 or whatever just makes it easier to have control
He does this so he can focus on one part of the song. Its a common trick. I use it too

I actually really enjoyed the drop. It's really simplistic, but the sound design is so crisp that everything just comes through in a very memorable, effortless way. :)
