That was an awesome video with a lot of information, I have a friend that lives there and I was curious about the place. It looks so beautiful!
Traverse City is an amazing place. Thanks for watching
Thanks a lot! I'm gonna work near the city. This is exactly what I was looking for.
I’m really glad this helped. Let me know when you are ready to find something. My team and I are ready to help. Where are you working?
@@samsguidetotraversecity3457 Crystal Mountain. Do you have a video about it?
Alvaro Aquije don’t have a video about Crystal mountain yet.
Alvaro, look into living in Manistee. It's the same distance from (possible a few miles closer to Crystal) than Traverse City. The cost of living is half of TC. It is a tourist town like TC with all the trapping, but still has the small town feel. And if you want to enjoy something TC offers that Manistee doesn't have, it's only another 30 minute drive from work. Trust me, I have lived in both places, and use to commute. Give Manistee a look. You won't regret it.
Bonnie Greenbud that’s not a bad idea. Manistee is beautiful too. Both offer different lifestyles so it all depends on what a person is looking for. The cities offer totally different lifestyles.
Great video. I'm going to be moving to the area soon.
Awesome. You’ll love it. If you need help looking, let me know.
Nice video keep doing your thang!
I appreciate that Andre’
I lived in TC for 26 years and moved to Tucson 5 years ago. We want to move back we miss Traverse City.
Come on back. Winters are not as bad as they used to be. Summers are still amazing.
@@themittenrealestategroup12 and my favorite fall!
@@themittenrealestategroup12 I still dream about Mary's Kitchen Port.
@@moodypet8837 someone from our office seems to walk there once per week. Everyone loves the Gobbler. We are working with a couple from Tucson right now as they are relocating back here for work.
If you decide to come back, give us a shout, we would love to help.
@@themittenrealestategroup12 will do
Hope that helps! I’m here to add value. Let me know how I can do that for you.
The winter is long but you can always fly down for vacation in Florida. TC has a great small airport.
Winters are not as bad as they were. All the direct flights with Allegiant make vacationing easy in case you do need to get away.
@@themittenrealestategroup12 and American. Some good direct flights to Orlando
I'm actually planning on moving up there in a few years
It’s a great place to live. I Love it here
Turtle Creek Casino (period) 🥳👏
I’ve won a little and lost a little. But as a member of the resort, the golf is what I’m here for.
just graduated college and might get a job offer from a company here. is there alot of young people here?
Hey Bubba, awesome to hear. Where are you looking to work? The younger population is growing here.
What is the average monthly rent for a studio or a one bedroom apartment in Traverse City downtown?
They range from the property type. For example I owned a triplex and the 1 bed was 725/month. In newer buildings they are 1100-1400/month and I’ve seen them as high as 1750/month
Hello Sam , is it easy to find a job there ??
Lots of jobs but scarse housing.
-local
Think you could hook me up with a rental for 1800 or under?? And I'm a welder they seem to have good paying welding jobs there and how far are they away from living?
Than
There are rentals all over for town in that price range. Mostly apartments. I’m not sure how far the welding jobs are from town though.
your mailbox is full and you can't receive messages Sam. Great video though. keep up the good work!
Hey there. Thanks for watching and the note on my mailbox. Emptied it out now.
Always loved visiting but hadn’t thought about moving there. What’s the political climate like?
Pretty mixed. I don’t get caught up In it though. I just keep my eyes forward and keep moving ahead.
@@samsguidetotraversecity3457 I hear you…I’m pretty middle of the road but was just curious
@@MartialGolf You would be fine here as a full time resident then. Just normal back and forth like any city I have lived in.
Young people are fleeing here in droves in 2023 due to housing costs/low wages. I grew up here and it's turned into a "Come back when you got money" places.
It’s all perspective. I know plenty of young people staying and starting businesses and my company employs a lot of people that have stayed. Yes housing is getting pretty expensive
Yes not much of a middle class
@@moodypet8837 Agreed.
