Before the Chinese occupation of Tibet, Lobsang Ngodup traveled to central Tibet to study Buddhism, a tradition common among inhabitants of the Himalayan region. While many of his Himalayan contemporaries escaped Tibet following the brutal invasion by the People's Liberation Army, Lobsang Ngodup, however chose to join Chushi Gangdruk, the Tibetan guerrilla army to resist China's occupation. He endured four years in Drapchi prison as a result of his involvement in the resistance effort.

བདེན་པ་རེད།།
He is from my native village Thiksay can speak fluently Tibetan language and can understand only 10% of it. If he spoke in Ladakhi Language then the three lakhs population of Ladakhi could be understood . Still I like this video.Thank you very much
We tibetans are indebted to your fight for Tibet.
Pala speaks fluent Tibetans. Unfortunately, due to many political reasons and tibet weakening nationalism Himalayan region people have forgotten their close ties with Tibet as Tibetan .
A Big salute to this Great Ladakhi Hero brother who fought ferociously alongwith Chushi Gangdruk n a must listen story. Thank you so much 🙏

🌾བོད་རྒྱལ་ལོ🎄🌻🌺🌹
Respect ✊🙏
It will be extremely great if u add English subtitles
He was Tibetan from Ngari at that time but now Ladakhi. Time change and history also .
Really, is he Tibetan?, I never hear!, because we are same village Thiksay!
Thiksay is village name in ladakh, and thirsty monasteries has became popular because of its resemblance to potala place in india.how could u be so naive😮
@@tenzintasur9575 time change and also history… so within one century majority people of Ladakh might say we are Indian not Ladakhi..forget about thiksay.
Back in time we ngari people doesn't even consider ourselves Tibetan let alone Ladakhi. 😅
And what do u mean by "he was Tibetan from Ngari" ? Wr u there to witness it with ur own eye? Stop talking bullshit. Remember, before claiming our neighbors don't forget that we don't even have a house.
@@foreverbangtan1376 u r the one who use to call our fellow Tibetan that we have big R on forehead and victimized them . Sometime better keep quite and enjoy ur life . Don’t be like Tibetan fish . He fight for Tibet so of course he is Tibetan.what wrong with that .
🎉🎉🎉ཐུགས་ཇེ་ཆེ་🎉🎉🎉
Good a Ladakhi to mention the Chushi Gangdruk.
