I created the backing track by playing the drum,bass & guitar parts on my Yamaha Psr 3000 keyboard.
(Filmed entirely on my Canon Powershot A550 camera).
(Obviously my Leslie 3300 speaker was used on this performance).

Well done. Saw Booker T last year at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. You did a very good job. Just pulled my Hammond B2 and Leslie 910 out of storage. I'm lubing everything and should have it going this week. Then I have to get 20 years of rust out of my hands,.

The man that played keys in my fathers band since 1966 had a B3 and a Leslie. They'd play whiter shade of pale and I would be mesmerized by that damn tone cabinet. Nothing like being a child and hearing a 9 piece band with horns and a Hammond. Unfortunately there's not a lot of vids on here showing them in action. Nice job btw.

Wow... I've got a Hammond Suzuki Leslie 771 which has the same foam lower rotor as you but how do you get yours to slow down that long??
I made my belt as loose as possible and it still comes to a stop in about 5 seconds from fast to off.
Any looser the rotor never comes up to full speed.

Is it my imagination or is the upper rotating horn spinning in the SAME direction as the lower rotor ?
I thought they were supposed to spin in opposite directions ?

Shows the power of no Leslie as well. Notice how the resolution had Leslie, but the groove was straight, no Leslie? Of course it can be the other way around in other songs.

what is the name of the song?
How do you control the leslie speed on your leslie 3300? I bought that hammond foot switch and connected it to the leslie cab but i can only go fully stopped, slow, or fast i can control the speed with it as far as something in the middle goes. do you use the hammand expression pedal?
You have to adjust the belt. They are on the horn motor and bass motor. Most have wing nuts you can loosen or tighten. His lower bass cylinder is really loose because it keeps spinning longer then it should. All a matter of taste
It's not like a rubber belt, they have cloth covering and slide on the spindles. You'll see. It's called ramp time in the manual, but that only changes without the Leslie. Only in the xb

***** I love the Leslie sound. I saw a guy who had put a tiny blue LED light in/on the end of each horn. Looked amazing on stage, with the the speed changes. not sure hoe it was wired. It looked more amazing than your socks
