Big Block 1970 Chevelle Cold Start with SLP Loudmouth 1

Here's a little cold start video of my 70 Chevelle with a 468 BBC. Its got Hooker headers to 3" straight pipes with SLP Loudmouth 1 resonators. Had to back the camera up this far because the audio kept cutting out. Still might need to back it up a bit more but you get the idea. It had flowmaster super 44s on it but I wanted something different and obnoxious.

This would like a lighter flywheel or smaller converter. Less inertia on start-up. And then raise the idle 100 rpm.

What cam specs are you running ?

It’s a Comp solid flat tappet cam and the lift is .635/.637 with a duration of 262/270 @ .050

SLP, sounds terrible on any LS car sounds terrible on anything, get some magnaflow magnapacks...

They make the car drivable. They don't attenuate a lot, but they remove the drone. Maggies are loud too, but you get a splitting headache.
