This song is amazing. So many “Christian” songs out there today are so shallow, and really all about “me”, and “my feelings”. This song is not that at all. It is pure worship to Jesus. When I hear this song I literally get chills and my heart swells with praise to God. Jesus, thank you.

I woke up this morning at 5:30 AM and as usual when I m laying down I cough so much at time that I have trouble breathing. This time I asked the Lord to cleanse my body and make it stop. Right now I'm fine. I don't know if it's Tourette's, ticks, or OCD but right now I am fine. For no special reason I go to the computer and put in Jesus thank you on my computer and find this. I cried thinking that in these times there are good people out there that listen to music like this. This knowledge is a blessing.

This song is so powerful. It makes my 12 year old heart relize what I rarely do, thank god. I have been a Christian since I was 4. I never understood it. I do know. Christianity is sacrificing your love, time, and money to God. If u havnt done that, u arnt a true Christian. Part of sacrificing your time is praying and thanking God for what he does for you. And this song helps me understand how to be a better Christian. Thanks for that
Kirsten, such truth! Though I would say it is even more than that. I think this part is simple but key: trusting God that nothing we can do will make God any happier with us than he already is. The reason he's already so happy with us is that he doesn't think of our dirty sin when he sees us. If he did, he would have to punish us (the song says "once your enemy" because of this), but he decided to punish Jesus instead of us! So since Jesus took our dirtiness, and we're now clean (and "seated at his table") if we just accept this truth. Us praising God doesn't help our cause, Jesus did that all by himself. It almost sounds too good to be true!
Kirsten Fleming more than just sacrificing or seeing it as a must do, our time and life devoted to God should be a response of love to Him because of what He did on the cross for us! Because He loved us first, and yes that sacrifice is gonna be one that we will enjoy doing after we understand by His grace the weight of His love poured over us.
