7 Action News got a first look inside the newly renovated Book Tower. The historic landmark sits at the corner of Washington Boulevard and Grand River Avenue in downtown Detroit.
I love seeing old and beautiful buildings being restored instead of torn down and replaced with nothing special. Detroit is being reborn and that is a very good thing.
Give it a couple decades - it’ll end up right back to the same way it was - abandoned with everyone fleeing for safety. “Affordable housing” - yeah, that’s what every high roller wants to live around. 😂

That’s absolutely beautiful. I’d consider moving downtown to live in a place like that. Curious what the parking situation is like tho…
Looks as though they are turning the 2 story building connected into parking
So happy to see this renovation nearing completion…. May it EXCEED EXPECTATIONS
I would happily pay $1,100 for 406 sqft in Book Tower
Absolutely exquisite renovation! I do hope that the unbuilt 80-floor twin now gets finished as a Mixed-Use Office/Hotel/Apartment tower...
Good to see it Back.
Exciting news
Are their any penthouse condos, like the Book Cadillac?
Scathing
At least I’d be much closer to my drug dealer
