My kids call the lady at the gas station Aunty; it's a part of our culture. Also, they asked if we had a channel. I can see how you could take that out of context, but it's my reality when I meet someone and say find me on youtube.
As a native Hawaiin myself, we refer to aunty as someone on the mainland would refer to Sir or Mam we use it as a form of respect, so her calling her kids aunty is how we speak in Hawaii.
We who truly know the situation and have watched you both and gotten to know you thru your videos KNOW the reality. Its sad you have to even explain yourself to anyone. Social media is so damn nasty 😒 women need to do better ❤

i feel like if i knew one of my favorite creators was near me i’d try to meet up with them too. like it’s not an un-normal thing. who wouldn’t take an opportunity to meet someone you’ve watched and looked up to for YEARS! and Talia did this before she was even in California and Jessica found Talias page from the time they met up in Hawaii so Talia using Jessica just doesn’t add up with how they met. I think she addressed it beautifully. They obviously still talk about it addressed or not. I think the way it was addressed tells her truth for new viewers and followers who may have only seen or heard the other stories.
