- Shaykh Muhammed ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen:
"The Salaf are in agreement that it is not permissible to rebel against the rulers whether they are righteous or openly sinful. It is also obligatory to perform Jihad alongside them and attend the Eid and Jumuá prayers when they lead the people.

@@moaadbenrajab3856 but there was no ability to remove him without causing more harm so in this case fighting against the ruler is impermissible even if he is a disbeliever.

What about peaceful protests o raise awareness for a government and the general public? (In history there is an incident: When the Muslim ruller was not paying attention to the crusaer who was massacaring the Muslims in Jersalem,the people protested). Please claify
To my knowledge, advising the rulers is to be done privately
Actions of the general people are not a proof, the proof is in the narrations.
