If he does have a firearms license for a shotgun, the threat he made to misuse it in a criminal act is enough to have that license revoked indefinitely.

I think if you look back around 7 years wayne griffiths the scrap yard manager was found guilty of buying stolen copper and other items. He was discovered in an undercover sting which is probably why he became so aggresive to a stranger filming. Do not think i'm making excuses for this thug, he deserves everything he gets

That taller police officer was not interested at all even when you mentioned the violence and threat of violence with a firearm, useless. The smaller one seemed decent enough. Scrap merchants are often notorious nasty criminals. Take them to the effin cleaners.

@@daviddale3285 He acted lawfully. Griffiths do not have any authority outside their private boundary or above it. They have a right to be confused but not assault people because they don't like it. They acted like playground bullies and their true colours were shown to be vile and nasty types.

When Thomas Griffiths says that he'll shoot down your drone he is committing the crime of threats to criminal damage. Just making the threat is a criminal offence.
Criminals. Thieves. Hiding their activities by using force. The police should immediately have responded to the mention of a shotgun and threats of violence associated with it. PJ, I hope you have some more video evidence which you aren't showing so that they can't watch it and get their lies coordinated. If this is it I would recommend that you make it private and hand it to the police until the case is completed. In terms of suing the company, according to their accounts they can easily afford to payout a few grand.
That was disgusting and unacceptable behaviour on their part. Hope you’re okay and not too shaken up. The guy that said he’d already been inside seems to regard it as a badge of honour rather than a the shameful experience it should be-that rather demonstrates the type of people you were dealing with here. It's extremely manipulative and you'd have to be an idiot to genuinely believe it. Shotgun shells can't travel 100m into the air anyway which is how high he was flying and besides you'd need excellent aim given how tiny it is all the way up there.

Something to bear in mind, entrapment like this using their vehicles, you would potentially have grounds on the basis of self-defense by ramming your way out. They clearly intended to trap the vehicle, so you fending for your life in a dangerous situation through ramming would actually have legal justification. The courts would be on your side with that one I'm pretty sure.

That shotgun threat was enough on its own for him to kiss goodbye to his shotgun certificate. This needs logging with the IOPC if the police fail to do this. Threats involving firearms should be treated with utmost seriousness.
Of course, you are assuming he has a shotgun certificate in the first place and the weapon is legally held if indeed he does have one.

@@warrengeew Nope, already have seen auditor's in action, Google drove down our road, and tax asseesscor to take pictures of the property but the dumbass decided he had every right to access my land and he said I couldn't stop him naturally he was thrown off and told to never step on our property again and he could take his pictures from public and that he was the people's employee which he said no I work for many counties and I work independent. So that is a yes you're a public servant now toddle on. We have camera's everywhere on our property, vehicles and have recorded when in public. If you haven't noticed the minute you walk out you door you are being recorded. We in turn wave at people that are recording and say hi. It doesn't hurt a bit.

Is using a vehicle in the commission of an offence a specific breach of legislation?.... By using vehicles to block you in ( unlawful detainment) they have opened themselves up to charges which can result in their licences being revoked/disqualified.

His vehicle insurance company should be made aware of him using his car as a weapon or obstruction which will void his policy .
The guy who took a photo your registration may have access to someone that is able to get your details , So make a request to DVLA about someone threatening to access your info through them and they will put a request alert on the mark.
Also you were injured by staff working for a business so make a claim though their public liability insurance which can be found online .

These guys sound like some people in a West Yorkshire based film I've just watched called *Catch Me Daddy* (2014).
Same accent and same level of intelligence.
I briefly looked at the credits and recognised the surname of one of the lead actors, as a name associated with violent criminal activity in my city, a lot of which are gypsies.
After a quick Google search, I found that the actor is one of those gypsy criminals from my city, and has been inside for assault with weapons.
He's a director of companies with a similar theme to these guys.
I'm willing to be that this scrap yard is run by criminals, who are most likely related to that same criminal family, most of which live roughly 8-12 miles away in a specific neighbourhood of my city.
If they are threatening with a shotgun then the armed police should be there and remove. Any guns. I hope you sue them for alarm harassment and distress. And any injuries. Mind you for what I saw the filth don’t seem interested. It might be just my perception. I hope you get it sorted. But they clearly have something to hide in that scrap yard.

They are probably doing something llegal taking scrap of the travellers without paying it into a bank account and paying cash. Hope you phone 999 has this assault and Breach of the Peace and the police need to arrest all involved straight away and warning them under caution you need to take action against them as this out of order and also reported to the Environment Agency for possible breach of licence. If you don't I will do it.
