    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  Pƙed 3 lety

      That's a hard one. Probably the XL oven for dehydrating, but it isn't as good at airfrying as the grill or the dual basket air fryer. If you only want to air fry, the dual basket air fryer is very nice. It works well, but is a basket style air fryer, so deeper than the grill.

      I would probably use the bake function instead of air crisp/air fry if I'm cooking lean fish, pork or chicken without breading so the outside doesn't dry out. Vegetables are best roasted in my opinion. I haven't made kale chips, but my only concern would be them flying around inside because of the fan speed on air crisp.

    I'm also wondering what is the capacity of each basket in qts/ltr.
    I'm thinking that Ninja might come out with a larger size unit in the future as well.
    If someone was concerned about the heat from the back and being close to a wall etc, I would use a sheet pan as a deflector if I had no choice for more than 6 inches of distance.

I purchased mine and it was shipped from NC to AZ. From looking at the Box when received, you would have thought it had been run over by a truck. Luckily, after unpacking, cleaning it out and so far my initial tests have been very successful. I believe I purchased the DZ201.

      I think the XL grill may have a little more surface area than the two baskets of the original dual air fryer, but the newer and bigger dual air fryer might be the same or bigger. I don't have that one, so I'm not sure.

    NO SPARES PARTS ARE EVER AVAILABLE!Please think twice before buying a Ninja Airfryer as you are never able to buy any spare parts, such as crisper plates or drawers etc. All the parts are constantly out of stock with no dates for any more. This lack of available spare parts is clearly to make sure you have to buy a completely new airfryer instead of just the part you need. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES Do yourselves a favour and choose a different make of airfryer, as Shark Ninja do not care.
