- Nephro, Captain of the Guard is one of the hardest bosses in Another Crab's Treasure and after dying countless times I found a cheese strategy to easily kill him without having to fully engage him and lead him to his death. The video explains how to cheese him.

easier way is to get two banana peels, one as a shell then the other as a hammer. wait till he does the attack to grab your shell, he'll eat the peel and take massive damage, switch the peel hammer to your shell so he'll grab the second peel and itll damage him again killing him in two hits

I haven't seen anyone talk about it, but you can insta-kill this boss. There's an area off to the west that has these sandworms (you can see the ' X ' in the sand).
If the sandworm comes up in just the right way under Pagurus, it 1-shots him. Definitely a glitch - haven't been playing, so I haven't replicated it yet.

Can also take him west to the edge of the cliffs hide behind the rocks and he'll just walk off the edge
I'll have to see if I can get this to work as well!
When you got the game when it was released and had to defeat him before there was any chease tutorials.

Special note, if you have the banana peel as your shell and pagurus eats it he takes a LOT of damage, for some reason

It's because he's allergic (I'm not even joking)
okay I found the location but is it possible they patched it already? he keeps de-aggroing me and disappearing on me, and then his life resets.
He will sometimes de-aggro like he did in the video, but if you aggro him quickly his health will not regenerate. Hope this helps!

To sad there is no new game Plus. I have now the golden fork and at the end if the game xD last boss i can make every time. But i want my golden fork on a new adventure
I know what you mean! I was so sad when I finished it up and there wasn't a way to just restart the game with all my new gear and moves!
