You make so much sense in your videos and I really enjoy watching. I have a question for ya. I have followed your 5 rules of thumb to the mistakes people make while training. I'm on point with them all. How long does it taka for my umbrella cockatoo to learn how to put all of his toys into the grocery basket?
We've been training almost 2 weeks. I hand him the toys, he has the basket just underneath his chest and he drops them in there with the clicker training.
This is such a great channel. Consider yourself the "Bridge" for people new to bird-keeping! This is great information on the key elements that contribute to success with a bird and the information is broken down into a simple format that is easy to absorb and implement. Keep up the good work!

Senegal is much much more receptive to training in comparison to Psittacula like ringneck or Alexandrine. Senegal or any other poice species is one of the easiest birds to train
Love watching you. Elfie is being so good. Can i ask how to train my boy to sit on his pearch, he will go on for training but any other time he'll just fly at me, sometimes catching my face as he lands, even on other play stands. Also, i have his nails cut by a vet but wthin days they are so sharp, digs in to my hands, leaving claw marks. Thinking i might try a nail file, if he'll let me. Any advice please?
Thank you for your videos. Oh still cant get harness on him. He will not put his head through the head loop. He touches it, puts his through wing loop too. He has got a fat head tho xxx
