As someone who adored overwatch 1 6v6 double shield was a balance problem. They should've reworked barrier heroes to have cooler damage absorption abilities of some kind. Now they've reworked half the cast and it still feels like crap cuz of the format. 6v6 was way more fun and populated. Overwatch 2 feels empty compared to it.
That’s pretty much what I’ve heard from other people who prefer 6v6 and as a person who didn’t play OW1 I hope they add a 6v6 mode in OW2 so I can see how it works. I doubt they will though.

How? If you have low damage and low elims, then that means you literally aren't hitting anyone. If you're playing dps and this is the case, that is clearly an issue.
this is not always the case. If one of the team's DPS players are going 5-11with 1K damage 7 minutes into the game then clearly there is a problem. then again if I'm going 42-9 and still losing (which has happened to me btw) then maybe there's something else that I, or someone else on the team, could be doing differently to win. stats are definitely important but they aren't the end all be all.
I play healer. It’s impossible to go beyond diamond for me. I can’t carry a team as a healer, it’s impossible. I can heal DPS and tank all I want, but if they are crap and don’t get picks….its useless. Why should I pay for that when we lose? I did my job to the best of my abilities. Healer ranks should be weighted imo.
because they took away your player agency as a healer by adding DPS passive. Now the best way to play "healer" above diamond is to pick a DPS support and frag/go for trades. No need to even use your brain anymore just aim better and you win. SO braindead

As a support u can 1v1 ANY dps if u got the right hero Kiriko or Bap. Start incorporating dmg into ur gameplay. If ur good enough to reach diamond you'll figure it out
I reached Diamond as Tank on PC (don't play DPS or Support) for the first time ever 2 or 3 seasons ago I think (I never play Ranked) and according to the streamers and pro players, that actually puts me in the gold-plat range, so it's good to hear the opinion of someone that's on my skill range
As much as more players having access is nice, smurfing becomes so insane to deal with since it's become free to play, and smurfing was already crazy before, Smurfing essentially makes higher tier players gatekeep more spots in those ranks, and yes, there can only be limited amount of people in each rank, otherwise it wouldn't really be a competitive game mode. As for the skins, their annoying way to look at it is $5 skin x 500k out of 5 mill players makes less money than $25 skin x 200k out of 5 mill players Sucks that they value money so much more than player loyalty, but people will buy and obsess over anything anyways, which is why gacha games make the most money with the least overhead costs. 6v6 better, makes tanks feel like they have any room to breathe, yet still feel killable, unlike 5v5, just balance shield kits, don't give a tank two abilities with complete damage negation and a stun like sigma. Get rid of role passives, they almost always favor certain hero archetypes over others, mercy gets nothing, lucio gets nothing, hanzo gets barely anything, widow barely gets anything.
Been considering deleting this game again because the ranked is just so mind numbing. Even content creators like Flats had the "talk" with Bogur about moving away from this misery inducing game. Shits finally boiling over for many. The only thing keeping me in the game rn is a group I found to play the game with so it's actually a consistent ranked experience. Otherwise I'd be playing Doom, minecraft, or Jak and Daxter something enjoyable. Such an incredible shame because the potential for OW to be the greatest comp game ever is SO GOD DAMN HIGH. And you are right. 2 tanks offered redundancy and there was usually a reasonable person to pick a right tank next to the Roadhog main troll. Now, the whole game rests on the whims of your single tank. If it's hard countered, it's over from the start 99% of the time. PS: After the first (2 weeks) silence, next are usually (sometimes you get silenced again) 2 weeks suspensions (can't play at all) and your account gets terminated after 5-10 of them or so. Used to be exactly 10 in OW1. I'm the CEO of getting silenced for flaming throwers in my team.
i know they he said shooting the tank does nothing but it puts pressure on the tank and sup you don't have to kill the tank but keeping the tank at half health can make sure their tank can't frontline to block you from killing their dps or sup, which ussaly forced the team to fall back or get team killled if possibal
I used to play on console and never used xim, so i know the pain of going against them, but I dont have anything to comment on them. Instead i wanna say I feel like the devs have been doing some TikTok short attention span type balance. I can say that because i even feel it working on me. What i mean is, they could ask for opinions and listen to SOME of the well-known and high rank type people, like a couple of streamers for example, that have known the game for ages, and balance it to an actually generally agreed upon decent point, as such a point DID exist as is shown by the general experience that was felt during a certain point in OW1's life, and theres not much reason it couldnt exist again (at least in a 6v6 type format. Not as sure about 5v5, but maybe?). However, they dont have to. I am NOT saying that you will ever find a point where even 80% of players agree that the game feels great in either 5v5 OR 6v6, but i imagine its possible to get about 40-60% of players happy, which sounds better than whatever the actual % has been for ages now. I dont have the stats obviously so i could be wrong, but could be right. Idk ANYWAYS the TikTok point i was making is that, people keep complaining that the game is too annoying in multiple ways, and then some of those unhappy players stop playing the game. THEN a balance patch drops with some "WOW PRETTY BIG CONTROVERSIAL CHANGE WHOA, ATTENTION GRABBING PLAYBAIT" type stuff in it, making those players want to come back to test it out. WHEN those players come back, they may spend some money, get fed up with the balance, then leave again until next semi-big patch. I know because i even do it man. Thats all blizz needs really, i think. The gameplay is unique enough that people WANT an excuse to play the game, and even a BAD balance patch reshuffling the board a bit is enough of an excuse some of the time. All you have to do is get a friend and go Sig and Ram or any shield tank in open queue and that's your double shield. There are counters people just don't want to play them
I knew ow existed just didn’t consider it as a game when back then there was better games than ow1 I played a lot of cod and fortnite back then but ow2 has been my favorite game since my friend told me to install it 2 years ago and I’ve been enjoying the game lately. Downside is I’m hard stuck gold my top 500 friend all roles told me he thought I was diamond atleast plat and I didn’t even have 200 hrs on the game 😭😭. I have over 500 hrs now.
I think the reason I rant about this game so much is because they are so close to having one of the best game of all time ever if they just did a little bit of work. I’ve had a bunch of fun on this game and there is so much potential however I doubt it will actually become what it could be
Im telling you, Peak OW1 when your team worked together (or atleast tried to in lower elos) was Peak Gaming, better than anything i experienced in Fortnite. And OW2 is the biggest fucking downgrade i have witnessed in my life - Worse Gameplay - Worse Rewards for just playing the game - Worse Progression Systems - Worse Events - Worse Menu / HUD - They Removed awesome social features like End-of-Game Lobbies or being able to Vote for Players at the end - Worse Ranked System The only things OW2 did better are - Less CC - Live-Service Game (New Updates) - F2P - Monthly Patches AND ALL OF THOSE THINGS COULD HAVE BEEN DONE FOR OW1/6v6 ASWELL, BUT BLIZZARD KILLED THEIR GAME INSTEAD AND LEFT IT TO ROT FOR 3 YEARS FOR A SEQUEL NOBODY FUCKING ASKED FOR Sorry, im getting pissed because OW1 was my favourite game ever and they ruined it, but i honestly would excuse it all if we went back to 6v6, i would start buying skins like a brainless idiot, because atleast the game would be enjoyable again, even if everything else is worse. I’ve been playing since season 6 OW1. I played the game in what I like to think was its purest form- playing on a Masters team, and participating in a couple tournaments. I’d like to think that as a player who played hundreds of hours against other teams running metas and such, that my view is objective. I think Overwatch 2 is an improvement over Overwatch 1. Double Shield was a blast for me, as I am a Widow specialist. I was basically given infinite resources to be a constant threat on any back-line, but the matches were infinitely slower because of it. Having fun has never been easier in OW2. I don’t get stunned out and headshot by a Cassidy by simply existing as Tracer, I don’t have to worry about spending two ults on one tank, and then having another that wipes everyone else out, felt shitty. As for why you don’t have fun, I can’t say. This game *is* made to be enjoyable, you just have to find it. So many people focus on wins and think that there’s all there is to having fun- play custom games, play Arcade, play on a team and find what real synergy is- there’s so much to find, you just have to look for it.

You didn't know about Activision/Blizzard, you didn't know about how they are taking action against ximing, and you didn't know why it is hard for every single game in the market (not just this one) to go against ximers. I agree on the monetization of the game. It is the worst, it sucks how much they try to milk the player base. I've never spent a single dime in this game. Also, tanks need aid, of course. Double shield was a crazy meta, a meta that isn't even possible now if we even had two tanks because that was only possible with old ori and sigma. I'm not sure if bringin the second tank is the answer, but yeah, tanks are in a bad spot right now. But they are giving them a new passive that sounds that it might actually do a lot for them. Let's hope it is the case. And yeah, showing stats just makes it a lot more toxic and it's not actually saying anything. People don't even know how damage works on some heroes. Tracer will never have the same damage done as bastion, and maybe the tracer is beingin a lot more value than the bastion. So yeah, it would be better if they got rid of that, and brought back stuffs like MVP.
Remember that 6v6 was a paid game and 5v5 is a free one, the fact the queue times are barely better in 5v5 is pathetic. Also remember the queues time only became a problem once they stopped updating ow1 to make ow2. Before 2019 ow1 never had any queue time problems, just once they literally let the game die without updates for several years

There are so many people that talk about how the format change was necessary due to queue times, double shield, etc while completely forgetting/disregarding the context for the issues. OW1 was abandoned so they could work on OW2 in the first place. All of those issues became prominent during this period of time. They basically let the game rot intentionally, and then resolved the problem they artificially created by going with the most nuclear option.
ow2 is a huge step up from 1 in a lot of ways people dont really talk about outside of the 5v5 vs 6v6 thing. in regards to that though, i dont really mind either way but there are a lot of reasons why 5v5 is better for i guess non gameplay reasons. most people dont want to play tank (even now) so matchmaking was very long in ow1. its a delicate balance though because if tank is good then the game is not fun for everyone else in the game a lot of the time. they could go back to 6v6 but i dont think they know how to balance it and they have hard enough of a time with 5v5 so.
The problem is that instead of thinking 'lets make the tank role more fun to play' they just went with 'let's just remove a tank'. That way of thinking is what has ruined a lot of things in Overwatch over the years. Tank is still miserable and blizzard has no idea what balancing means.

They know how to balance it. A big issue was double shield with Sig and Orisa. They go to 5v5 and take away Orisa's shield instead of doing it during 6v6.

I've played since Torb had armor packs, 6v6 better, everyone had plenty of ideas to fix GOATS, yet the devs were so slow to act on these since they were throwing away all of their time on PvE, yet it got canned by corporate since it was always constantly scrapped, retried, scrapped, retried, then finally scrapped again. The drought was from them essentially just throwing away their time, as was stated when overwatch 2 stagnated for a bit as well. They didn't bother letting the public try out 5v5 before scrapping the OW game, even though they said OW2 was not just an update, lo and behold, people opening up OW got an update to OW2. Introducing, the same old problems, plus new ones...... Same dev cycle of out of touch buffs and nerfs, same cycle of lies. We removed stun, and are going to keep stun at a minimum (reintroduces some stuns and knew ones immediately), everyone doesn't think immortality abilities are fun to deal with? Here's Kiriko, a hyper mobile assassin support with immortality affects, heres Lifeweaver, a decently mobile support with immortality affects. Tanks unbalanced? Heres more unbalnced changes to tanks. Oh, is that character decently balanced? That's not allowed (throws a random buff or nerf no one wanted). As for them making money, all they need is for that juicy 5% of players to pay for loads of stuff, and 2% to buy whatever garbage price they slap on. It's a scientifically proven model to make them more money, they just need to be good enough to keep enough players so that those whale spenders feel good flexing their skins on us. Low maintenance budget, high returns. It's why PvE got slowly strangled then cut off completely.

Because as of now we have uncontrollable extremes for every tank it feels like, if they aren't the most obnoxious and frustrating thing to fight, then they are push overs and feel terrible to play as. There is no balance to tanks unless they are generalists because of counter swapping, with 6v6 you could have tanks not take three people to kill one, yet have then still feel like they can breathe because they have the other tank cover their weaknesses or at least their biggest one. Now it's either the tank blows up instantly or the tank gets to make three mistakes, get punished, and still survive like Orisa or Ball or Zarya. Now with health increases that extra tank we used to have is basically with us in spirit with all the extra hp we need to chew through, which only happened because of the extremes of one shots on a 5v5 format as opposed to a 6v6 format. Tank goes down in 5v5 now, well then, guess your team no longer holds point. Tank goes down in 6v6? You might be able to have tank 2 hold until tank 1 gets back if you get a pick soon after. Tank diff started in 5v5, because it has been a major bane in 5v5, because tanks sway the match to a huge margin compared to other roles, yet also feels the worst to play. The only role that over all feels better is damage since things fall over easier because there's one less person to worry about, (support was broken because they for some reason waited until now to address heals and certain supps having ludicrous dps) making steamrolls happen much more often, which feels terrible for those receiving it, not an issue that started with 5v5 but it is something drastically more exacerbated by it. Every single thing that has been done to fill the gap left by losing the second tank has only brought more problems than it fixed. No goats, but goats could have been fixed with shield recharge reductions or cooldown nerfs accordingly, or reworks to certain hero designs. Now we have every single same issue, just a different hard stuck meta, especially when it was Kiriwatch/Sojournwatch.

Plat gameplay on console looks like silver gameplay on PC. Kinda wild. Btw, you know they are fixing ximing right? They literally posted about it a month ago. Starting season 11 or 12, they are moving xim players to quick play only, AND they will be put in PC lobbies with their aim assist disabled. Continued use will get them banned. From watching this video, I can tell almost all of your points come from a place of complete ignorance. You are defending 6v6 like you're samito. As someone who has literally played both, both 6v6 and 5v5 have issues, and yes, double shield was a big problem in OW1 when people played sig orisa. It was one of the most played tank setups, especially at higher ranks. As far as monetization goes, this game has horrible monetization. It is very fear of missing out based. To people who say "it's free to play", you used to be able to get the game for $30 and unlock every skin in the game, even event skins added later, and the game was doing fine. They could literally drop the price on skins, and make more money, just because more people would buy skins.

I can heal DPS and tank all I want, but if they are crap and don’t get picks….its useless. Why should I pay for that when we lose? I did my job to the best of my abilities. because they took away your player agency as a healer by adding DPS passive. Now the best way to play "healer" above diamond is to pick a DPS support and frag/go for trades. No need to even use your brain anymore just aim better and you win. SO braindead

I reached Diamond as Tank on PC (don't play DPS or Support) for the first time ever 2 or 3 seasons ago I think (I never play Ranked) and according to the streamers and pro players, that actually puts me in the gold-plat range, so it's good to hear the opinion of someone that's on my skill range

As much as more players having access is nice, smurfing becomes so insane to deal with since it's become free to play, and smurfing was already crazy before, Smurfing essentially makes higher tier players gatekeep more spots in those ranks, and yes, there can only be limited amount of people in each rank, otherwise it wouldn't really be a competitive game mode.
As for the skins, their annoying way to look at it is
$5 skin x 500k out of 5 mill players makes less money than
$25 skin x 200k out of 5 mill players
Sucks that they value money so much more than player loyalty, but people will buy and obsess over anything anyways, which is why gacha games make the most money with the least overhead costs.
6v6 better, makes tanks feel like they have any room to breathe, yet still feel killable, unlike 5v5, just balance shield kits, don't give a tank two abilities with complete damage negation and a stun like sigma.
Get rid of role passives, they almost always favor certain hero archetypes over others, mercy gets nothing, lucio gets nothing, hanzo gets barely anything, widow barely gets anything.
Been considering deleting this game again because the ranked is just so mind numbing. Even content creators like Flats had the "talk" with Bogur about moving away from this misery inducing game. Shits finally boiling over for many. The only thing keeping me in the game rn is a group I found to play the game with so it's actually a consistent ranked experience. Otherwise I'd be playing Doom, minecraft, or Jak and Daxter something enjoyable. Such an incredible shame because the potential for OW to be the greatest comp game ever is SO GOD DAMN HIGH. And you are right. 2 tanks offered redundancy and there was usually a reasonable person to pick a right tank next to the Roadhog main troll. Now, the whole game rests on the whims of your single tank. If it's hard countered, it's over from the start 99% of the time.
PS: After the first (2 weeks) silence, next are usually (sometimes you get silenced again) 2 weeks suspensions (can't play at all) and your account gets terminated after 5-10 of them or so. Used to be exactly 10 in OW1. I'm the CEO of getting silenced for flaming throwers in my team.
i know they he said shooting the tank does nothing but it puts pressure on the tank and sup you don't have to kill the tank but keeping the tank at half health can make sure their tank can't frontline to block you from killing their dps or sup, which ussaly forced the team to fall back or get team killled if possibal

I used to play on console and never used xim, so i know the pain of going against them, but I dont have anything to comment on them.
Instead i wanna say I feel like the devs have been doing some TikTok short attention span type balance. I can say that because i even feel it working on me.
What i mean is, they could ask for opinions and listen to SOME of the well-known and high rank type people, like a couple of streamers for example, that have known the game for ages, and balance it to an actually generally agreed upon decent point, as such a point DID exist as is shown by the general experience that was felt during a certain point in OW1's life, and theres not much reason it couldnt exist again (at least in a 6v6 type format. Not as sure about 5v5, but maybe?). However, they dont have to.
I am NOT saying that you will ever find a point where even 80% of players agree that the game feels great in either 5v5 OR 6v6, but i imagine its possible to get about 40-60% of players happy, which sounds better than whatever the actual % has been for ages now. I dont have the stats obviously so i could be wrong, but could be right. Idk
ANYWAYS the TikTok point i was making is that, people keep complaining that the game is too annoying in multiple ways, and then some of those unhappy players stop playing the game.
THEN a balance patch drops with some "WOW PRETTY BIG CONTROVERSIAL CHANGE WHOA, ATTENTION GRABBING PLAYBAIT" type stuff in it, making those players want to come back to test it out.
WHEN those players come back, they may spend some money, get fed up with the balance, then leave again until next semi-big patch. I know because i even do it man.

The gameplay is unique enough that people WANT an excuse to play the game, and even a BAD balance patch reshuffling the board a bit is enough of an excuse some of the time.

TLDR
It doesnt matter how good or bad they balance the game, because either way the uniqueness of this game will usually ALWAYS bring in a decent number of players, and some of those players WILL buy the pretty pricey (at least imo) skins and other stuff.
All they need to do is make the game feel alive (Unlike in OW1) by providing balance updates and battle passes, no matter how great or goofy they are.

I knew ow existed just didn’t consider it as a game when back then there was better games than ow1 I played a lot of cod and fortnite back then but ow2 has been my favorite game since my friend told me to install it 2 years ago and I’ve been enjoying the game lately. Downside is I’m hard stuck gold my top 500 friend all roles told me he thought I was diamond atleast plat and I didn’t even have 200 hrs on the game 😭😭. I have over 500 hrs now.
I think the reason I rant about this game so much is because they are so close to having one of the best game of all time ever if they just did a little bit of work. I’ve had a bunch of fun on this game and there is so much potential however I doubt it will actually become what it could be

I’ve been playing since season 6 OW1. I played the game in what I like to think was its purest form- playing on a Masters team, and participating in a couple tournaments. I’d like to think that as a player who played hundreds of hours against other teams running metas and such, that my view is objective. I think Overwatch 2 is an improvement over Overwatch 1. Double Shield was a blast for me, as I am a Widow specialist. I was basically given infinite resources to be a constant threat on any back-line, but the matches were infinitely slower because of it. Having fun has never been easier in OW2. I don’t get stunned out and headshot by a Cassidy by simply existing as Tracer, I don’t have to worry about spending two ults on one tank, and then having another that wipes everyone else out, felt shitty.
As for why you don’t have fun, I can’t say. This game *is* made to be enjoyable, you just have to find it. So many people focus on wins and think that there’s all there is to having fun- play custom games, play Arcade, play on a team and find what real synergy is- there’s so much to find, you just have to look for it.
Orisa every game makes it hard to have fun, glad she's getting nerfed, not so glad of what is going to take her place

Oh, and btw, two more things. It is just blizzard now, Activision/Blizzard ended when Microsoft bought them. And the most important one. They said next season all ximers are gone. They know who they are, they know what they are doing, they are taking action against them. If you actually did your investigation before bringing an uninformed opinion then you would know that ximing is extremely hard to find out about. It is extremely hard to pin point who is doing it. But they've found a way for it, so let's hope everything goes nice and dandy for the next season. And also, they are in the talks of adding m&kb as an option for console players and the matchmaking will be based on the input instead of the device.

I agree on the monetization of the game. It is the worst, it sucks how much they try to milk the player base. I've never spent a single dime in this game. Also, tanks need aid, of course. Double shield was a crazy meta, a meta that isn't even possible now if we even had two tanks because that was only possible with old ori and sigma. I'm not sure if bringin the second tank is the answer, but yeah, tanks are in a bad spot right now. But they are giving them a new passive that sounds that it might actually do a lot for them. Let's hope it is the case. And yeah, showing stats just makes it a lot more toxic and it's not actually saying anything. People don't even know how damage works on some heroes. Tracer will never have the same damage done as bastion, and maybe the tracer is beingin a lot more value than the bastion. So yeah, it would be better if they got rid of that, and brought back stuffs like MVP.

Also remember the queues time only became a problem once they stopped updating ow1 to make ow2. Before 2019 ow1 never had any queue time problems, just once they literally let the game die without updates for several years

OW1 was abandoned so they could work on OW2 in the first place. All of those issues became prominent during this period of time. They basically let the game rot intentionally, and then resolved the problem they artificially created by going with the most nuclear option.
ow2 is a huge step up from 1 in a lot of ways people dont really talk about outside of the 5v5 vs 6v6 thing. in regards to that though, i dont really mind either way but there are a lot of reasons why 5v5 is better for i guess non gameplay reasons. most people dont want to play tank (even now) so matchmaking was very long in ow1. its a delicate balance though because if tank is good then the game is not fun for everyone else in the game a lot of the time. they could go back to 6v6 but i dont think they know how to balance it and they have hard enough of a time with 5v5 so.

The problem is that instead of thinking 'lets make the tank role more fun to play' they just went with 'let's just remove a tank'. That way of thinking is what has ruined a lot of things in Overwatch over the years. Tank is still miserable and blizzard has no idea what balancing means.

They know how to balance it. A big issue was double shield with Sig and Orisa. They go to 5v5 and take away Orisa's shield instead of doing it during 6v6.

I've played since Torb had armor packs, 6v6 better, everyone had plenty of ideas to fix GOATS, yet the devs were so slow to act on these since they were throwing away all of their time on PvE, yet it got canned by corporate since it was always constantly scrapped, retried, scrapped, retried, then finally scrapped again. The drought was from them essentially just throwing away their time, as was stated when overwatch 2 stagnated for a bit as well.
They didn't bother letting the public try out 5v5 before scrapping the OW game, even though they said OW2 was not just an update, lo and behold, people opening up OW got an update to OW2. Introducing, the same old problems, plus new ones...... Same dev cycle of out of touch buffs and nerfs, same cycle of lies.
We removed stun, and are going to keep stun at a minimum (reintroduces some stuns and knew ones immediately), everyone doesn't think immortality abilities are fun to deal with? Here's Kiriko, a hyper mobile assassin support with immortality affects, heres Lifeweaver, a decently mobile support with immortality affects. Tanks unbalanced? Heres more unbalnced changes to tanks. Oh, is that character decently balanced? That's not allowed (throws a random buff or nerf no one wanted).
As for them making money, all they need is for that juicy 5% of players to pay for loads of stuff, and 2% to buy whatever garbage price they slap on. It's a scientifically proven model to make them more money, they just need to be good enough to keep enough players so that those whale spenders feel good flexing their skins on us. Low maintenance budget, high returns. It's why PvE got slowly strangled then cut off completely.

Because as of now we have uncontrollable extremes for every tank it feels like, if they aren't the most obnoxious and frustrating thing to fight, then they are push overs and feel terrible to play as. There is no balance to tanks unless they are generalists because of counter swapping, with 6v6 you could have tanks not take three people to kill one, yet have then still feel like they can breathe because they have the other tank cover their weaknesses or at least their biggest one. Now it's either the tank blows up instantly or the tank gets to make three mistakes, get punished, and still survive like Orisa or Ball or Zarya. Now with health increases that extra tank we used to have is basically with us in spirit with all the extra hp we need to chew through, which only happened because of the extremes of one shots on a 5v5 format as opposed to a 6v6 format. Tank goes down in 5v5 now, well then, guess your team no longer holds point. Tank goes down in 6v6? You might be able to have tank 2 hold until tank 1 gets back if you get a pick soon after. Tank diff started in 5v5, because it has been a major bane in 5v5, because tanks sway the match to a huge margin compared to other roles, yet also feels the worst to play. The only role that over all feels better is damage since things fall over easier because there's one less person to worry about, (support was broken because they for some reason waited until now to address heals and certain supps having ludicrous dps) making steamrolls happen much more often, which feels terrible for those receiving it, not an issue that started with 5v5 but it is something drastically more exacerbated by it. Every single thing that has been done to fill the gap left by losing the second tank has only brought more problems than it fixed. No goats, but goats could have been fixed with shield recharge reductions or cooldown nerfs accordingly, or reworks to certain hero designs. Now we have every single same issue, just a different hard stuck meta, especially when it was Kiriwatch/Sojournwatch.

Btw, you know they are fixing ximing right? They literally posted about it a month ago. Starting season 11 or 12, they are moving xim players to quick play only, AND they will be put in PC lobbies with their aim assist disabled. Continued use will get them banned. From watching this video, I can tell almost all of your points come from a place of complete ignorance. You are defending 6v6 like you're samito. As someone who has literally played both, both 6v6 and 5v5 have issues, and yes, double shield was a big problem in OW1 when people played sig orisa. It was one of the most played tank setups, especially at higher ranks.
As far as monetization goes, this game has horrible monetization. It is very fear of missing out based. To people who say "it's free to play", you used to be able to get the game for $30 and unlock every skin in the game, even event skins added later, and the game was doing fine. They could literally drop the price on skins, and make more money, just because more people would buy skins.
