  • "War. War never changes. But the games that explore its aftermath? Well, those have changed quite a bit over the years. From the humble beginnings of a cult classic RPG to a post-apocalyptic pop culture phenomenon, the Fallout franchise has taken us on one radically retro-futuristic ride through the irradiated landscapes of an alternate reality where the American dream went nuclear.
So grab your Pip-Boy, stock up on Nuka-Cola, and get ready to venture into the wasteland.

Black Isle didn’t make the first Fallout. I don’t think Tim Cain ever worked for them. But Black Isle was formed around that time and they did make Fallout 2.

Black Isle Studios developed the first Fallout game aswell as Fallout 2. Tim Cain was Producer, designer, lead programmer for the original also, although i dont think he did work FOR Black Isle Studios.

76 was indeed horrible upon release, it is much, much better now. It has had a rebirth due to the show on Amazon. I saw a few days back, that the peak for F76 on Steam had been 32k, it is now 72k following the shows airing. Looks like it can be saved from an early death.

I totally agree mate! I loved the TV show. Walton Goggins is one of my favourite actors. 👍🏻
