Thanks for the sound level testing, not so common in various reviews, but very important for me. I've tested this XC60 and AR Stelvio, unfortunately, during the tests I didn't focus much on sound deadening and now it is very hard to recall if Volvo was quieter than Alfa.

Every Volvo reviewer neglects to mention the available free Over the Air Sensus infotainment and navigation updates. Many of these updates can be done in your car through any standard wi-fi connection or a USB drive from your computer. The German luxury automakers sure aren't offering free technology updates to their buyers.

As a 2020 Inscription owner I will say you won't be disappointed. I agree the lack of interior storage can be a minor nuisance.

I have a T8 on order. I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed they deleted the fog lamps from the T8 line. I've read it has something to do with the cooling. But for such a small part, I'm surprised by it. When I'm paying for the (near) top trim, I'd like to get the items included on lower trims.

With this no longer having the luxury package is quite bewildering to me because I heard that the massaging seats were a great feature. Nonetheless, this is my favorite Volvo right now and those seats look very comfortable!

Anyone know why the massaging seat options went away? That’s an expensive feature that should warrant a lower price yet doesn’t look like it did when building the car online.

You speak of the lack of storage. However, you didn’t mentioned the hidden storage on each side, under the back seat. It is lined with rubber which makes it a perfect storage space for my laptop or iPad. They stay in place, no matter your driving habits. You also didn’t mentioned the upper tray in the glove box designed for the car manual. My wife uses it to park her book when she’s tired of reading during a trip. She always has the book handy when she wants to resume her reading. BTW. You don’t need to keep your manual in the car. There is a full e-manual available on board from the 9” screen.
Lucky to buy one in 2020. Have massaging seats, Air suspension and Bowers & Wilkins system.

We've had 6 new Volvo's in the last 7 years. Four were XC60s. BUT...no seat massage may be a deal breaker. Even Lincoln has seat massagers. Next purchase will be March. Wonder if Lexus has seat massagers?
why isn't massaging offered in the luxury package anymore? i thought you automatically get it if you choose the t6 inscription model
If they insist on a "twist" dial to start instead of a button, it should be up on the dash where a key would be and not in the center console.
did they take away the massaging function for seats on the 2021 xc60? i dont see it as part of the options/packages..in the US

Terrible to have such a small engine for that price point. The supercharged engines make for long term driving enjoyment and keeping up in traffic with less drama and driver stress. Great video.

The Volvo XC60 costs a little more but it has more features and personally I think it looks better. You should also look at the Mercedes GLC 300 and BMW X3

I have a Volvo XC90 2020
The front grill design is def. negative. Little Rocks will hit the cooler sitting right next behind the spacy open frontgrill. Not a perfect and expensive solution. The impact will come. Besides that it looks like a bit like by Mercedes new grill styling. Up to that it is a stylish modern car.

The Volvo or Subaru Outback?
Subaru will have more comfort features then the Volvo. Adjustable headrests, adjustable rear seats, autopilot as standard, heated steering wheel standard, heated rear seats standard. So is Volvo a truly luxury brand or it only sells design and tradition? Same question would be asked for German premium brands.

A very nice and supple grade of leather
22 cu ft is not much cargo for a family SUV. All non-luxury compact SUVs have more cargo space (usually more than 30 cu ft.)
The cargo space is all relative. You will note that the rear seat has plenty of leg room which eats into the cargo space. In the competition they give you more cargo but less leg room. To properly compare cargo space in any SUV, bring your front seats forward as much as you can. Then, fold down the back seats. Now measure the TOTAL cargo space. The choice one must make is, do you want rear seat leg room or cargo space? Once the rear seat is down, it no longer matters because the cargo space extends all the way to the front seats no matter what leg room you have or don’t have with the back seats up.

Not a bad car overall.The interior design is an acquired taste though with these massive coffin shaped centre vents and the hilariously curvy trim around them. Not my taste for sure. Otherwise good car.

I think that only applies to the T8 model (or Recharge since Volvo renamed the XC90 T8 to the XC90 Recharge and I don't know if it applies to the XC60 yet).

I know this sounds foolish but if the Volvo had the same safety features as a Subaru I would've bought the car in a second, but the safety features compared to the Subaru eyesight well let's just say no comparison
