Sir in my childhood i eat so much variety.. now they are extinct .. Ghutaria, dudh Kumar , kariyel, dwarika , rakhal bhog 👌, also little common like kisan bhog .. Problem is old trees are not profitable , and people know only himsagar, langra, amrapali .... So now farmers are going towards some new varieties .. selective variety .. I want to do mix farm permaculture type garden .. but land price is so high .. even I will able to by 2/3 acre .. i have to do modern productive varieties .. also i have to leave city and have to live in unsafe village to protect mango ... Ridiculous .... .. if you contact malda district next year ... You can get 50 species.. may be more ... Many mangoes are going outside.. even local people doesn't know all varieties ....
