    Good Luck in resolving the parasites 🦠 Buddy, one of the most frustrating parts of our hobby my friend 👍

      Cheers pal…it’s doing my head in! All seems ok but one fish sat on bottom fins clamped, this one was fine before the treatment! I’ll do a scrape tomorrow and see if it’s done the trick, hopefully it’s just the flukes now 🙏🏻

    Isn't it relieving and satisfying to PP in your pond 🤣 also wasn't paying attention to the first part as I was watching the dog 🐶 lick its bits in the window 😱🤣

    Nice update there, shame about the parasites. But i guess as we come out of winter into spring then this is more prone.
    Get them treated mate.

    Hi Jason, great vlog again. It’s a shame about the parasites but hopefully get it sorted soon. I’m the same with the grow and show as mine was to be delivered. Don’t know where you are but my pond temp yesterday was 5.2 here in Colne Lancashire. I was contacted yesterday and they are going to keep my showa a few weeks till my temperature rises a bit 🤦‍♂️. Also I’m going to France 🇫🇷 first time ever in May after being postponed 2 years cause of Covid. Great to see Badger on your Koi channel Lol 😂. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing 👍🐟🎣

      Hi mate, thanks for watching! I’m at a steady 9 degrees which is mainly due to the insulation in the pond and having the filters in the filter house but still it’s a bit of a drop when the fish have come from heated so defo a good idea for you to wait, that’ll be a huge drop and asking for issues if you have it early!
      Yeah this France trip was cancelled twice too, going ahead this time though, I can’t bloody wait and obviously there be a video out on my carp channel 🙏🏻

    ive got flukes too. get them every year. luckily i just did a scrape out of curiosity on one that seemed to have a small bacteria infection. no flashng, all swimming around and eating/ water tip top. just goes to show how much attention you need to take watching your koi. hope you get it sorted.

    • @bezzaskoichannel3856
      @bezzaskoichannel3856  Před 2 lety

      Yeah I’ve had them every year but never used to worry about it! This is why some of my older fish are unhealthy! I’m trying to get them back healthy as much as possible now that I have learnt a little 🙏🏻

      @@bezzaskoichannel3856 in my experience lernex pro is the best but every ponds different and the blighters seem to adapt. that said i had to dose with fluke m as i had some left over. it worked but they did seem to come back. flukesolve failed misserably for me. just something you have to live with and be ready to treat i reckon.

    I share your despair Buddy. Just another part of the hobby to keep us on our toes. Hope you've got them under control, and be sure to get the costia identified asap if you do have them, once they take hold it can very quickly wipe out the pond, especially as the water is warming.
    Take care bud👍

    • @bezzaskoichannel3856
      @bezzaskoichannel3856  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi mate, I’m pretty sure I saw costia even with my old eyes! The PP should hopefully do the trick but I’ll be scraping again in couple of days to see if they’re gone! If so I can start on the fluke! Hopefully I’ll have better luck than last year, they were proper stubborn so may try the lernex pro 🙏🏻

    Out of curiosity…. How do they catch the disease ? Is it something that’s introduced into the pond by accident? Cheers

    • @bezzaskoichannel3856
      @bezzaskoichannel3856  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi, there’s many ways, fish can get parasites from others bringing them into the pond! If they grow naturally in a pond and can latch onto fish, especially ones will low immune! It’s just part of koi keeping, it’s a battle every year 🤷‍♂️
