Removal has little to none drawbacks, advance can abuse your heart and vessels. But if you are a regular person id say advance is better, because if you use removal you may be very strong for awhile but youll die of broken bones and muscle tears after, unlike removal which takes continous application to be fatal.
Removal has no drawback if you are a kure member a normal man will die from over forcing his muscles
Removal has a ton of drawbacks if you are not a kure, that's actually why only the kure use it. If you use removal all your muscles and even bones would break (similar to what the berserker armor does).
A normal person using advance would die via brain death as an accelerated heart rate doesnt allow for your blood to be oxygenated so you just suffocate yourself basically and would be dead after around 8 mins depending on size

Advance is more likely an Adrenaline rush bcoz of heart rate increased and it triggers fight or flight mode. While Removal is more of a Enkephalins and Endorphins realese, since Riaan is on Euphoric state using it.

I have seen some describe it as hysterical strength caused by a manic state induced by a purposeful triggering of psychosis, similar to how someone might be able to witness a mother lift a car to save their child. The difference between Raian and Ohma is that Raian was essentially bred for the purpose of being able to properly utilize "hysterical strength" without suffering from the the actual real world consequence of permanent muscle weakness, bone damage, heart complications, or other terrible things that come from pushing your body past its very set limits. Ohma has no such genetic advantage, and when he takes an advance it causes permanent heart damage.
This is also why when others use "Removal" they start to suffer from bodily harm. It also can explain why Raian pretty much never had to learn anything past basic techniques to beat the shit out of people. Hysterical strength has not been seen to be overly-dextrous, and usually can be seen to be utilized for one purpose (running, lifting, etc.).

You still need the extra blood circulation to increase strength. Removal should be Advanced plus Endorphins. It should mess up the heart worse than Advance. It doesn’t make sense at all. Heart needs to work even harder in Removal.
I like how first Raian was patronizing Ohma and just wanted to kill him but by the end of Ashura turned into his fanboy. And now they are basically best buddies. Ohma might be the only person Raian doesn't want to kill xD

Spoilers - Well Ohma is pretty much part of the Kure clan now in Kengan Omega, he lives at the Kure Mansion and even trains with them. So pretty much he's been accepted as Karura's husband by her Grandfather.

Both are similar but they both have drawbacks.
Removal drawbacks: Drains stamina so the user can’t maintain removal for long, places strain on the body(even on the Kure, but they’re able to handle the strain), Their is a certain limit on your latent power(low latent=low power; high latent=higher power).
Advance drawbacks: Causes hallucinations, blood vessel damages, damages to the heart, causes user to forget certain memories, feral smile(although I think that part is cool like Raina’s feral smile). Although, in omega, ohma doesn’t have any of these drawbacks anymore because he can control his advance plus he got a new heart that doesn’t get damaged if he uses the advance so the only drawback ohma would have in omega is not going berserk(advance level 3). Yeah, actually your body puts this limit on your muscular output to protect your tendons and surrounding tissue, so by knowing this we can understand that Removal is just usually putting unnecessary (usually) strain on the body.

just to clarify, when the tiger niko “gave” ohma the advance, all he did was jump start ohma’s heart. (this isn’t explicitly stated but given the way the possessing spirit works one can assume that’s all he did) but when actual niko hit ohma in the chest, he used the redirection kata chi blockage technique and knocked ohma’s spine slightly out of place to restraint his power. (this IS explicitly stated. refer back to the setsuna and ohma fight to see this) so that’s the difference.

I think removal is still better as even if someone had a 100% removal and was a weak character you could still beat them with a weaker removal just by having a higher base strength and using a martial art eith it while advance has to be weakened in order to use martial arts with it which just makes it a little harder and more specific to use. Imagine if any Kure clan member used niko style. They’d have no problems using it since it doesn’t cause strain on their movements.

A man in real life who used the removal was eddie hall with the 500 kg deadlift. and im not joking. he said in an interview that he had to ricreate in his mind a scenario of life and death to access 100% of his muscle fibers and lift that 500kg and he did it... absolute beast.

Let me explain Advance and Removal from my perspective.
For Advance, whenever your heart rate increases, more blood circulates around your body and brain. It gives you an Adrenaline Rush. You get a tremendous drive to go through anything and anyone. It basically gives you inhumane power. Your surrounding world seems slower as your blood circulation increased and you get better control over motor neurons and nerve-senses. Your metabolism rate hits the sky. You get a pumped up doze of sudden strength in your blood-stream. You can increase your strength and speed and reaction time via Advance. So, Advance mainly makes you superpowered. That's why Ohma Tokita got faster in the second round.
On the other hand, For Removal, it unleashes power from your brain and you overcome all the limitations of your brain. Think about all the limitations you can face as a fighter. You can get fatigued, you can wear down because of pain, you get numb body parts, you lack mental strength which is a great weapon for you in a fight, you can have hyper-sensitive body hits that can make an impact on your performances. Once you overcome all those limitations, you just become a killing-machine. Cause, you have no weakness as a normal person would have. There's nothing that can stop you from the action until you completely break-down from inside. So, removal technique literally makes you a beast and superhuman. That's what happened for Kure Raian. He got defeated once his neck snapped from the repeated shots from Ohma Tokita. Until that, he was a BEAST.
advance is increasing the heart rate to pump more blood around your body and thereby increase the your metabolic rate, so not quite a adrenaline rush as I'm not sure that can increase your metabolism.
Removal, well, removes the brains "limiter". The limiter keeps you from using most of your bodies hidden strength unless in time of stress with adrenaline rushes allowing you to temporarily break your limiter somewhat, however removal doesn't require the use of adrenaline to break through the limiter as they can consciously remove their limiter, allowing them to unlock their hidden strength.

Ohma's Advance has 3 gears to it the first increasing his speed without causing much damage by kengan omega the second gear begins to cause damage to the blood vessels the third gear greatly increases speed causing damage to the blood vessels and heart leading to audio and visual hallucinations

Removal, well, removes the brains limiter on how much of the bodies strength you can use to allow you to use greater strength, so while the average person can use 25-30% of their bodies strength without the use of adrenaline, removal allows the user to use all the way up to 100% of the bodies strength.
Well, now we know that there is also Niko style: Fallen Demon. And Fallen Demon combined with Advance = Divine Demon. Also the Connector has Divine Demon+ 100% Superman Sindrom+ Full muscles controll ( like Julius)

I think removal is more dangerous when you consider lu tian, a 1 in a million prodigy, using it went berserk and was having strain from it.

Yesss. Though, a shame there are a lot of scenes in the manga that they did not include on the anime adaptation.
6:55 it would make sense for it to increase durability that depends on muscles, so for example a lowkick targets the leg muscles and if you flex them that lessens the effect so removal allowing you to flex them harder would probably make them hit less hard. even against headshots having stronger neck muscles to stop your head from moving as much could help however for stuff like a kick to the ribs where it's bones being targeted or if your shins are getting hurt or for a broken nose it shouldn't do anything. I could see anime logic having it increase durability in those last cases anyway though.

Well to those asking. If a Kure clan member used advance, they would be completely fine. They can already handle the Removal without any consequence, and since they are familiar with Removal, the similar concept of advance would be easy for them to control. It would pretty much have no drawbacks.

So r2 ohma at the strongest we’ve seen the advance be is able to at the very least keep up and even exhaust 100% raian with no techniques imo there relative with the advance being more so usable by “anyone” while the removal you’d need the special kure/wu body to use it effectively without killing yourself because of backlash

I've taken note of the case with huiseng. It's literally all connected. Going back to chapter 96 in kengen and the reveal of edward wu... and his connection to tiger niko. Now after we have said setsuna vs tiger, and akoya, willem wu and raian fight again. This raian is different and the crazy reveal of otakemaru is fireeeee... i think raian is like the connecter, makaku in the fact of having in human pain tolerance. What if otakemaru can light on fire, and thats the reason its weighted and raian can deal with the pain because he's top of the verse and theory.... what if rikito kure is raians father and his uncle was Edward. Alan possibility had superman syndrome along with guihun... but i think guihun is different from removal... slightly. Raians removal is perfected... and i think hes the one who taught ohma how use his advance in burst. I think raian is like his big brother quite literally

If one makes a conscious choice to physically do their best in live in accordance to validating love to the degree I mentioned it allows the subconscious to systematically coincide with the soul, spirit, Mother earth, and all the various different forms of life that live within this world in the most efficient way that is humanly possible. Thus yielding the best spiritual kickback for one's efforts accomplishments experiences. Anything less is feebleminded, physically inadequate, and submissive subservient which it doesn't get any worse than that living and dying in that manner. For when one lives and dies having neglected the physical freedom they have had available all throughout their life a results in them being recognized internally and externally for all eternity throughout existence as spiritually sexually suppressed. Case closed. Mercy, forgiveness, and spiritual welfare death are not changing those facts protecting carrying compensating any wining souls or spirits that are freely connected to a life that does not do its best to improve upon and maintain the quality of it. You might want to take that point to Heart considering if life is not free why the hell would death be any cheaper it's not. The sad truth is thanks to people living dying to the lowest standards of quality for so many years that today's people are living and dying to a diminished quality of life from coast to coast globally getting far worse because people have been consciously physically reduced to unsafe working and living environments for the last hundred 50 years so these worst-case scenarios have been exacerbated and that is putting it mildly so unfortunately this scientifically classified understood diminished quality of life resulting in the worst spiritual kickback that has ever been manifested throughout the history of mankind. This diminished quality of life is primarily do to dirty low-paying jobs that come from outdated power sources, inferior materials, poisonous, toxic substances, pesticides, and chemicals that never change their killing composition which means whether it is a solid, liquid, burnt off into our airways atmosphere as a vapor its always going to be poisonous, debilitating, and deadly to the body. At the same time polluting, corrupting, and devastating to Mother earth and all the various different forms of life that live within this world. There is no cash profit to be made in the destruction of the planet. Even far worse is the spiritual kickback that is manifested from inhaling petrified death 24/7 drinking using contaminated even treated water has over 125 different impurities using wearing the materials that are made cheap and inferior something like corrosive to the body that's what happens when you conduct business to the lowest standards of quality which is primarily America China India. In layman's terms You cannot promote life by doing business with material, resources and substances that have been scientifically classified religiously verified as petrified death or worse which all stem from coal, oil, gas and the chemical industry. It's not all gloom and doom. For we have the man/woman power to offset maybe even fully compensate all the damage that has been caused from dirty low-paying jobs. And that is with clean high paying jobs from coast to coast that improve upon and maintain the quality of our air, water foods, landscapes, working/living environment, every day home products, habitats, and ecosystems plus the lifestyle I mentioned. The goal is to live in a manner that allows each persons generation to naturally and gradually constantly consistently become stronger, smarter, healthier, happier, better off physically, mentally, financially and possibly spiritually then the previous generation in other words we can make each and every moment of life physically mentally financially spiritually beneficial. Sad to say even under those best case scenario circumstances there is still going to be a percentage of people who freely live and die having only used the smallest percentage of a fraction of the true potential they were first born with. Advanced is stronger than removal imo. Base Raian is much much stronger than base Ohma, or at least round 2 Ohma, yet Advanced Ohma was just a little weaker if not even with Removal Raian, who has by far the strongest possible Removal.

Doesn't matter about latent power, you saw it yourself in the fight that when they both unleashed their forms Ohma was just as strong as Raian after getting stomped in base power. That says a lot about how much of a boost Advance gives you

Meaning
Raians base power: 100
Raian after transformation: 159
Ohma Base power: 78
Ohma after transformation: 150-157
And my point is, is that Advance makes you stronger than removal. If Raian had Advance instead of removal he'd be so fricking strong.
Edit: My point is proven even further when you know that Raian is using 100% removal and Ohma is still equal to him
if base raian is 100 then transformed raian should be roughly 3.33x that due to 100% removal unlocking 70% of his hidden strength, as his base form can only use 30%.
So here are better numbers:
base raian: 60
removal raian: 200
base ohma: 30
advance ohma stage 1: 60 (he was equaling base raian)
Advance ohma stage 2: 120 (raian stated he was 2x as fast)
Advance ohma stage 3: 190 (equaling removal raian)
We have to take into account that Raian was playing around and wanted the fight to last as long as possible

To me The Advance is more powerful and the technique significantly increases the strength, speed, durability and power of the individual. The Removal is a technique that depends on the latent ability of the person and the limiter. So unless you are able to use atleast above 50 to nearly 100 o 100% of The Removal would it be beneficial of use over base form and as long as you have a strong base form and huge limit Removal then only can it be as powerful or more powerful or go par with The Advance. We also know that the ones who can use The Removal to the highest extent or limit are selectively bred but others also can use but to not to that degree. So the Advance is powerful and better I believe as it was mainly created to counter The Removal as Removal depends on the persons limiter. In the Long Run, might I add The Advance does cause blood vessel damage to the user leading to the death which I believe the Removal doesnt cause such harm. So, in that case The Removal is better for longevity if its true. Apart from that The Advance uses the Heart and The Removal uses the brain so if someone uses both that would be insane and cause death. If it werent for the blood vessel damage The Advance is the more powerful technique unless Removal user has a higher limiter.
