Wow, this was like old Rachel video DIY’s but better. More natural & fun - I laughed at least 3 times! Didn’t seem to be overthinking or stressed, just easy & fluid. Loved it! I vote to make the room more moody, rich old world colors that the plants would pop against. A room that stands on its own. Excited to see what you decide!

My vote is painting the interior of the closets in the rust fill the end caps of the closets with LED strips and finish then with fluted PVC (like a green house) and seal the existing concrete on the floor.

I'm kinda liking the terra cota ceiling, a very desert vibe against the paneling and plants...the grinder was fun and a concrete stain would be awesome...you're a brave woman and no holes in the walls were made...cheers...!

I love how your green thumb has been developing! Those plants are so easy to take care of and get to vine everywhere, so I'm sure it eventually won't matter what color the ceiling is because it will be covered with green. With that in mind, my idea for the walls and floor is to make a sort of reverse landscape, with the ceiling being dark (the ground,) the walls being a blue, possibly a tan to blue gradient (the horizon) and the floors being light (the sky.) That way, when the plants do take over the ceiling, it will look like your bed is hanging upside down over a jungle! 😂 Maybe that's too much, but that's how my mind works and i can't apologize for it. 🤓
I am SO glad you're starting to feel like yourself again. I worry like a mama bear about you when you don't post regularly because I know that sometimes means you're struggling on your own, which I hate. I'm also glad you realize you can be yourself with us and we won't judge because you're such a beautiful wild woman, inside and out, and the world needs as much of you as it can get! Absolutely gorgeous diy plant wall! ALSO--- Your pup is giving me life! I have a Great Dane pup and she's a wonderful- full of energy and play and affection but definitely not a fan of me being on any device that takes my attention away from her. Lol. Dogs are really the best at giving all the love you can handle.
Clear coat the cement floor and keep the terracotta color to compliment the plants 🪴❤ can’t wait until next episode

Love this!! I think the rust in the back of the closets with the plywood "wrapping" the ceiling of the closets too would look really fun and connect the ceiling to that wall even more al0ngside the pothos on the ceiling

Keep the rust color..and personally I like the lighter concrete look. So I would go for a light stain. if you go too dark of a stain on the floor it’ll make the room feel smaller. And if you do a white wash or a lighter stain, you could always add a rug with darker neutral tones to compliment the light wood your using for the planter wall. I think the rust color on the ceiling and the green from your plants 🪴 bring enough color to the room and you don’t want to compete with that with other colors if that makes sense. That plant wall is the show stopper of the room looooove it. Loooove you girl. You and Hannah Lee Inspire me so much. Can’t wait for your next Video

I just am not sure why you didn't use the back space for a walk-in closet behind the feature wall for your own storage of items. I am sure you have other things in mind that you might do and maybe extend the house from the back.
As for the colour think a lighter colour on the walls would be better for that room so it doesn't feel small. You do have rugs etc which you can bring in on the floor or quilt covers or sheets on the bed, to tie the ceiling in too.
I'm happy this one woman show is getting more seasons. Personally I love the rust color especially with the wooden walls I think it fits with this era your in but you seem like such a lively and vibrant so I would like more vibrant and lively colors from you in the future. As far as the concrete goes please stain it I think it would really suit the room.
I think stain the concrete. Use a couple of different colors. Maybe the walls a warm cream color to hilite ceiling

Polished concrete w plants for the win
Floor: White wash (could be warm though with reflecting the sun) or stain (could a high gloss floor with visual "texture" [like stones or rocks] be an option?)
Insets: Terracota texture, White texture, gold imparted color (and could still be textured), or a teal color (not for sure if you had used this color in the past.)
And that is a beautiful wall!!! I loooooovvve pothos (is she a pothos? I can't have those anymore because they are poisonous to cats, but I am looking for a safe vining plant just like it.) That is going to come together AWESOME!! Keep doing your thang Miss Rachel!! Your work is beautiful!
Hey girl! It looks F-info amazing! I just love it. I have tons of plants climbing my walls as well but never thought of hanging my planters like that! I absolutely love it! I think you should go with a pebble floor, like the ones you see in garages. And maybe an earthy gray or something contrasting on the walls but natural. Love you!
I think a really rich marbled stained concrete would be gorgeous! Similar to a jacobean shade, topped with a nice black and white rug

Ok hear me out… use the accent wall as the headboard for the bead but obviously your going to still need a headboard so the pillows don’t fall down so I was thinking an acrylic headboard so you can still see the beautiful plants. And as for the color for the closest’s make them green the same as the plants. I really think that would be beautiful. If you don’t do it I’m stealing my idea for my house. 😊

You should definitely try sealing the floor with a tinted cement sealer! something warmer / sandy in tone? looks fab rach!

Hey girlie, love the plant wall. Your choice of wood two place behind the plants is perfect. I think you should leave the rust color on the ceiling, it warms up the room so much with that little splash of color. Like bringing outside colors from the desert inside. You should try staining the concrete, everyone tries to cover over the concrete with flooring or carpet or covering it with paint and I think maybe the imperfections that are visible when you stain concrete should be brought out to give it character. Nobody is perfect so why should concrete be perfect. I've never stained concrete and I've always wanted to...how weird am I? Lol. I absolutely love watching your videos for any of your content.

Yes, stain them! I stained my concrete floors white, and they're my favorite thing ever. No regrets. I loved watching you wrangle the grinder. It gave me flashbacks! It is like a rodeo!!

OMG this looks amazing!! I love the ceiling as it is honestly. And my personal experience with stained concrete is that it looks good. But you need a few coats on the finish otherwise it tends to just feel really icky under your feet. PLUS it gets SUPER dirty especially in dusty areas. Maybe research on how to avoid those :)
