really appreciate your descriptions and also your notes of critique. i've been wanting the Merit signature lip for a long time and i've never heard anyone mention the bullet issues you've had with them. thanks for the heads up! such a bummer that most of these products aren't available in my country, i really want to try Merit, Naturium, Live Tinted and Innbeauty. i'll just have to be patient.
if you're in the market for a nice lip balm with spf, you should try out the Ultra Violette sheen screen hydrating lip balm. i have it in the shade dusk, which kind of reminds me of the Vieve lip dew in Rosa, but a bit more sheer.
I’ve wanted to try that but last I checked, I can’t get ultra Violette here!

Loved your suggestions, I purchased the bodyography lipgloss in Shy, & Nars soft matte balm in Brief Encounter, looking for swatches for the Lawless Forget the Filler Lip Plumping Line Smoothing Tinted Balm Stick, looking forward to trying those. I’m going to pair my matte NARS collection with the coola lipix spf lip oil this summer.

Agreed! I was so skeptical and I didn’t want to like it because the whole GXVE line felt like a cash grab-but I couldn’t resist buying the lip gloss after seeing Kait’s review. And OMG I love it so much. It’s probably my favorite gloss at the moment.

I haven’t specifically compared those two formulas because they are extremely different. VBB glosses are a medium pigment thin, silky gloss. Beauty pie collagen glosses are like a cushiony liquid lip balm with just a hint of pigment

I like the thickness of the City Lips but I’m not crazy about the plumping/ stinging action of it. What would you suggest would have the same thickness/stickiness?
