I'm sure you've got better stories about STUFF recovered from drains than I do. I've just snaked out a couple of hair balls. Since living in my current house, the ABS piping rarely has an issue... Nothing a plunger itself couldn't handle.

I am actually amazed the shirt/rag there was able to get flushed in the first place in the toilet. How that even made it somewhat down past the point of entry I am amazed.
Most likely from dumping a cleaning bucket down the toilet would do it 🙃

The first job brings back memories long time ago my Mama’s bathtub had the same style plunger/drain. She used Avon “skin so soft” for bathing. Over the years it literally build up like a coating on the drain and pipes like grease so I removed plunger/linkage and had to use a long transmission fluid funnel and between pouring Clorox and hot boiling water over a lengthy period I finally got it “Flowing Like A River”.
Now back to watching your video.

These were easy money compared to lugging the big machine into a basement. BTW, I can always spot a cluttered bathroom, which seems to be a trend when you find weird stuff clogging the toilet. A counter above or too close will eventually yield an accident!
