Idea for you: Book Journal, including an index listing the book, date purchased, etc. ! :-)
Haha. I use two apps to keep track of my books. But an index could be interesting. Would take hours to go over all the books I currently own though. 😅😅
Okay, that book on Constantinople looks really interesting and right up my ally. I really like the cover design, gives it that old school look.
I recommend The Comple Mushashi:The Book of Five Rings translated by Alexander Bennett and Hagakure also translated by Bennett.
That is Japanese mythology no? Or am I mistaken. I was once looking for a nice copy of the bushido and I recall something about rings also being mentioned
@IdeasInHat it's about samurai and martial arts, and yea technology bushido but not mythology. There both historical texts though.
Really great 👍
Theory and history by Ludwig von mises should be on your radar if you're interested in the methodology of history.
Didn't realize he had another book besides Treatise on human action lolol
5:56 Richard Sakwa, Nicolai Petro and the late Stephen F. Cohen are way better.
Will look them up. I think I have seen Cohen's book before.
