新加坡国宝级的阿姐范文芳，很精彩的说谈人生，现在的她显得更豁达，随心所欲地洽谈过去，没有太多顾虑，虽然年前时的她比较漂亮，但是说话很拘谨，可见一个成熟的女性 散发出来的魅力是不一样的，比较喜欢现在的她，知道自己的定位很好地表达自己的想法 思路清晰。
I think it is admirable that Fann placed family over her career. The bonds and memories mothers have with their kids are such a huge influence on their lives. She is wise and still so genteel and beautiful.
Fann really exemplifies a mother's love. She is someone who loves her job and was extremely career-minded, but she was willing to sacrifice it all for Zed Zed. As a fan, it is a bit sad because you know she could have done amazing in China and all, but also you recognize this is clearly what makes her happy now.
The host knows the guests well, that was why the interview was very different from others, just like friends chatting which is really fine, good job Yi Feng!
Another side of fann that we would never see if not for this show! My favourite fann songs are 真爱宣言 and STAY! That girl with big basket picking apples
I love this song too!the drama is such a classic, the first 偶像剧 in SG.
Fann is my idol for more than 20 years. She is the most famous actress in Singapore who is also shine in overseas.
Also, Fann's words re: love for a child are so wise. When asked what she thought about some people saying she might be spoiling her child, she said that there's no such thing as giving your child too much love, that that is what a child should feel from parents - pure love. The thing is to teach the kid what's right and what's wrong. I thought that was a great insight.
I really miss the old dramas. I somehow wish that they would sell the old dramas with english subtitles...

While Quan was known for a few controversial disputes in the past. There was one that was not documented but it did appear in the wanbao long long time ago. It went something like she and Wang XiangQing of Small Flying Fish drama, were at the airport and they got into a dispute with an uncle working there. Quan ended up hitting the uncle with an umbrella. That was what I could remember, sharing it here for posterity as this incident was not captured in Wikipedia.

15:27 节目进行一半，主持人还可以直接发问“然后，还有什么啊？”，然后工作人员cue。我也是醉了，看了真的很不舒服。完全不顺畅。这个部分为什么不剪掉？看了那么多中国大陆、台湾、香港的访谈节目，从来没看过比这个还不专业的。整个制作也很粗糙。Mediacorp, can you please buck up??
you can tell by the format of the show that there’s a level of intimacy and casualness between the crew and the hosts/guests. the very fact that there are cameras that shoot the crew as well as the cast proves this. the relationship between them is of codependency and the crew constantly cues the host as you can see by the raising of the signboards. so there’s nothing wrong with needing a cue from the crew. if anything, the fact that she asked the crew so that she could keep to the written format of what they wanted in the scripting is more professional than you would think. what the editors choose to keep and cut reflects the relationship between people on set and the atmosphere and concept of the filming. also you say the style is crude but this is a style that only the host can pull off. the guests agree to do the show because it’s her and they trust her style and hosting, making it the unique selling/marketing point. so keep your opinions to yourself if your accusations are baseless! cheers!

Do you even realise how hypocritical you are by replying my comment with CHUNKS OF YOUR OWN OPINION+JUDGEMENT then ask me to keep my opinion to myself? Practise what you preach.
Also, if you deem such hosting and production as something intimate and you are comfortable with it. Good for you. But who are you to say my opinions are "baseless"? You have no fucking rights even if you are the producer of top-rated shows/someone in the industry.
Every audience is entitled to their own opinion. To me, I find Quan's hosting awkward and it clearly shows how unprepared she was for the interview and the lack of professionalism. All in all, I hope you realise what "to each his own" means and don't try to shut people out just because their opinions differ from yours. Grow the fuck up.
