- Kudremukh ghat road connecting Kalasa with Karkala is a beautiful ghat road across western ghat range of Karnataka. Kudremukh town, once famous for iron mining and exporting of ore through Mangalore port is now a ghost town with the bare minimum of population still living there.
Kudremukha ghat road traverses through the Kudremukh reserve forest range. This is one of the prominent route which connects major cities like Beluru, Hassan, Bangalore with the coastal cities of Karnataka like Udupi and Mangalore.
