She was a genius to purchase a home in Bulgaria. Eastern Europe is developing and rife with organized crime which could hide her, yet it's possible to live safely there. I don't understand how this wasn't found out sooner. It would only take a single guy with the knowledge of blockchains at one of her conferences to blow the lid on the whole thing. She must have bribed an official in Bulgaria, but she had investors from most of the world, so why wasn't she wanted in more countries?

People are still getting rich on the net with this technique today. She knew to reach out to the 3rd world where poverty drives people to underthink such get rich quick schemes.

She is as dangerous as politicians and big businessmen. Suppose you got 1$ deducted from your bank account suprisingly, add that all up and you can make billions from each and every customer. I mean who would file a complaint for just 1$ since you would either way lose much more in hiring a lawyer for it.

So, if you're a woman and really want to make a life for yourself in the more "unscrupulous" ways, bank off the ever-present assumption that: "whammen are nurturer-only and are never ever dangerous, or if they are competent, they have help somewhere to help her think and do and we need to look for THAT person. (A man, to put it bluntly)". Bank off that assumption, work on your innocent outward look, say the right things "they" want to hear, and you'll be golden. That's my lesson when I study humans. There are cracks in the system you can always exploit, depending on who you are, and when it comes to women, that's a huuUUUUUUUUUUuuuge one. This is such a fascinating story! This was likely was more successful of a scam than they initially thought it would be. It capitalized on the excitement and urgency to buy crypto and the lack of knowledge that many people have about it at just the right time. I believe Ruja was found guilty of some type of real estate fraud with her father in the past and also tried to start another crypto currency that was not successful before this one. I hope she is found one day!

I'd turn her in without hesitation and then donate the bounty money to charity. She deserves to be in prison for her crimes and all of her assets should be seized. Scammers like her should be thrown in prison. I despise pyramid schemes and MLMs on principle. Unfortunately, MLMs probably won't be strictly banned in the US any time soon since they are currently able to lobby our government, which can - and probably does - prevent laws from being put into place to permanently put them out of business.
