    To my friend,
    Joe Valch-
A good man caught up in a terrible time in our country's approach to certain institutions and their practices and your many decades in a terrible place for far to long.
A kind soul that never hurt anyone or had a bad word to say to anyone
And after many years as a free man after decades "imprisoned", I hope you found joy.
    Incredible:
For me to enter a residential property on business and just so happen to meet the nurse that was responsible for assisting with your exit from that hell so many years prior and enable you to know true freedom because she knew in her heart you did not belong there but that you had no one to speak on your behalf...
    I re- thank her .
    You were Joe's angel.
    Joe, you are missed~

I love this, and if you watched it too, I bet we are friends. I only want to say that Sometimes a Great Notion is even better! It is also more work, but if you love Kesey, you will thank me.

The villain is the Combine, not the Nurse.

YEs, unless everyone is a cultural genius like you!
Why would most folk from their various perspectives in whatever cultures and geographies immediately be aware of any of this, or that Chief Broom was in fact how Mescalito appeared to Ken?
The only universal surface detail that average people will pick up on the first viewing of the movie or reading of the book, is, for eg, how folk of mine and previous generations felt about school ajnd the institutions we were forced to believe had some God given power over us all.... (but, in reality, ONLY when we choose, rightly or wrongly, but usually co-ercively, to believe them)
But then, we ain't all geniuses like you of course....

Kesey refused to watch the movie.... the book is extremely deep...the cinematic interpretation barely even scratches the surface....
